"Southern comfort food at Time Out Market New York in the form of the "Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich." It did the "evening after work" trick with good-sized, flavorful portions of chicken between very nice, absorbant breading, laid atop sweet honey sauce."
"The plan was to go to Maison Pickles, their sister location, while in town but I wanted to enjoy the weather and sit outside. I was hoping they had identical menus but what I wanted wasn't available. So I opted for one of the chicken biscuit sandwiches. The hot honey chix biscuit was really good and filling. The portions are huge. There's a rooftop bar and patio to sit at and enjoy the view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Also, live music was played by a DJ downstairs and looks to be a band was setting up on the rooftop"
"My family and I were here in April and being from Houston, we definitely know a GOOD chicken sandwich! And these did NOT disappoint! On the chicken sandwiches the flakey outer layer, (glazed over with buttery honey by the way), to the warm doughy insides of the bread perfectly compliment the crispy yet tender chicken inside. Then the pickles of course just tie the sandwich all together and add a kick of flavor! We will be back!"
"Was in Brooklyn and had to visit the Time Out Market per a friends recommendation. With so many delicious food stalls in here, I stumbled upon Jacob's Pickles as the presentation looked incredibly delicious. The Food: I went with the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit Sandwich Combo with a side of Mac N Cheese. I can tell you, from the plates I see being served to others, you will be in a food coma right after the meal! The fried chicken itself was cooked to perfection. Nice layer of crunchy skin, and tender meat that just break apart so easily. The meat was also very juicy and flavorful. They had the Nashville hot seasoning down to a T. The Mac N Cheese was also a star player here. The pasta cooked well and the cheese combined together made it perfect. Right amount of gooey cheese that made every bite worth it. The Service: Service was great! Ordered at the kiosk and waited for my order. Wasn't long before I was called to pick up mine for to go. Staff are nice and friendly as well. The Atmosphere: Since it was a food stall, can't speak too much on it's own atmosphere. But they do have a bar area in front of their kitchen for you to eat. Not that much seating, so you may need to find another spot up or downstairs. Overall, 5/5. Chicken cooked perfectly with incredible flavor. I'd highly giving this place a try."
"This is the best deal in TimeOut market I think, 15$ for huge sandwich, its the best deal here I think for the amount of food that you get. Its also one of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had… get the Nashville hot chicken its amazing. Spicy and somewhat sweet at same time. Photos below."
