"Have visited a couple times, and every time the cashier tries to persuade you into buying things you did not ask for. Ordered a dozen or more meat pies and unknown to me, three were actually burnt. It just goes to show how deceitful and desperate the one female cashier is to make a sale. Very poor customer service. The jollof I had was overly spicy and quite small for the price to the point where you couldn’t taste the other seasonings in the food. This establishment is not worth your time or money."
"Very very good homely food once you try it you will be hooked ....loyal customer since 2021.,, my kids love her food too"
"Considering my past negative experiences with ordering from restaurants in New Jersey, I was hesitant. However, the lady I spoke to at Iyalaje's Restaurant assured me that I wouldn't regret it. For Christmas, I decided to give it a try and ordered some food. To my delight, the food was absolutely exceptional. I was thoroughly impressed. The lady followed up with me to ensure I enjoyed the food, and I expressed my satisfaction. This positive experience led me to order again for my baby's naming ceremony. It was during this occasion that I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Iyalaje herself. She was incredibly sweet and pleasant to deal with. We negotiated the price, and once again, she delivered nothing but the best. Every dish I ordered, from Eforiro to Moimoi, Ayamase to Asaro, along with goat meat, fish, and pastries, was impeccable. My guests loved it. In fact, my sister was so impressed that she ended up ordering food for Eid Al Fitr as well. I consider myself a food critic, but Iyalaje's food surpassed all expectations. You won't be disappointed."
