"Hands down the best fried chicken I've had in ages. If you are craving a crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside fried Korean chicken, Pelicana Chicken is the spot. We ordered a platter, and it could actually feed four. There was plenty to take home. The food was fresh with hardly any wait, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was tranquil. We arrived after work on a weekday and had the place to ourselves. Oh, and might I had the cocktails were also just right!! I rate them 10 out of 10 for food, service, and atmosphere."
"We got the original fried chicken, with four dipping sauces (signature sweet & spicy sauce, honey garlic, honey glazed soy, and barbecue). Our favorite was the signature sweet & spicy sauce (level 2) - it wasn’t spicy imo but had the perfect balance of flavors, just like the ones in Korea. The chicken itself was juicy & crispy. Their french fries with truffle oil were fried to perfection and had a strong truffle flavor. We also tried the kimchi pancake, which was made with their homemade kimchi. It was savory, crispy, and chewy. Their kimchi stew was another highlight, complementing the chicken perfectly. As Koreans say, good kimchi = good restaurant. For drinks, we tried the strawberry soju cocktail (made with homemade strawberry puree, no artificial stuff) and their house milk tea. The cocktail was strong yet refreshing, with just the right sweetness. The milk tea was a pleasant surprise - thick, concentrated, and packed with assam tea flavor. The owner has clearly spent hours perfecting the recipe. Don’t waste your money on weak milk teas in NYC - just come here!"
"I come here at least 4 times a month when I’m craving and missing Korean chicken from back home and it’s literally reminiscent of the chicken I’ve always had with my family in my neighborhood growing up in Seoul. My go to order is the soy garlic boneless chicken and tastes amazing every single time. The food is flavorful and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Clean, fast and friendly service, good prices, and delicious food - what more can I say? This IS the best K-chicken joint in Brooklyn and I highly recommend visiting and trying it out. You will not be disappointed :D"
"Online store hours state they are open to midnight. Picture also provided ofnthe front door of this establishment also state they are open till 12. Walked inside at 1129 looking foward to ordering some food to go. We we were told upon walking inside that they were closed. Very disappointed to say the least. Time to update the store hours if closing so early."
"The chicken sandwich is better than Chick-fil-A! I know that’s not saying much, but it has to be said. The crispy chicken sauce is super good. and they still managed to keep it crunchy! they had a few big screen TVs to watch the game as well. 9/10 would come again"
