"I had to make a change in my review. I ordered oxtail which this restaurant tends to never disappoint. However I got oxtail was simply the commercial oxtail sauce. They didn't have any saw pimentos, there was no thym there was no Ginger it was simply no seasoning at all! In addition I got jerk chicken and the jerk chicken sauce was a drizzle. I even offered to pay extra and the guy refused. No one has time for that and then too many other restaurants that are going to comply and be better. My jerk chicken was tough and rough. You need the teeth of a lion to eat it."

"This food was very unpleasant. I usually don’t leave bad reviews. If the food is subpar I would not return. Today, I just wanted some great Jamaican food during my layover, I tried Jam rock. Being from a food capital city like Chicago I know I can be bias but I’m very open to great food from other cities, Unfortunately, this food order was a waste. The chicken didn’t seem fresh, the Mac and cheese was tremendously dry and I asked for a side of yams and received one yam. ONE! I have no idea what happened but I hope I just caught this establishment on a bad day. Never again!"

"I dont understand how they have a 4 star rating. i paid 100 dollars for fish that i believe was warmed up and not cooked fresh. I was so disappointed after a long day of travel (with this as my first and only meal). i initially ordered oxtails, the owner called me to tell me the oxtails were not ready and to cancel my order. However, they accepted the order, so I could not cancel without paying 82 dollar fee!!!!! They then substituted my oxtails for stale over cooked fish. I am still hungry and so angry that Im going to cancel my Uber account! I hate that I was HELD HOSTAGE to sub-par food and service. The Uber delivery person confirmed that the staff had horrible attitudes. Oh, and rhey were extremely slow! if i could've given them -5 stars I would!"

"I ordered from this restaurant today on door dash. I was a little apprehensive because I had never ordered here before. A lot of times with Jamaican restaurants, it's a hit-or-miss. I can tell you now, I don't regret ordering. I got oxtail's, with rice and peas and cabbage . It was delicious. Very authentic. They weren't skimpy about giving a good portion of oxtails. I highly recommend this restaurant."
