"Few things are better than well-made meats between buns. Dutch's Sandwich Shop did not disappoint. In fact, it far and away exceeded my expectations. The Dutch Daddy was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The hot pastrami in place of bacon or sausage was such an incredible stroke of genius that I'm surprised it's not on every menu in every place that sells sandwiches. It was that good. We also tried the Claremont and the Blame Canada on our second visit. So nice had to visit twice! I could not recommend this spot anymore. I would give it more than 5 stars if it were possible. I plan to make my way through the entire menu because everything on there looked amazing. The staff was welcoming and nice and the place was decorated with quirky posters, framed cartoons, and more. There is limited seating inside but they have a few small tables right in front."

"This place is incredible. Every sandwich I’ve ever had has been fantastic! But they’re most most famous one is called a Dutch daddy think a bacon egg and cheese but with their homemade house sauce instead of bacon nice hot pastrami! Honestly not a huge fan, but this was the most next level thing I’ve ever tried tried! They also have a variety of other sandwiches like an adult grilled cheese called called lil celi, so fantastic ! I will be back to try the rest of the menu"

"This was my first time going and I've been wanting to go to try The Dutch Daddy! Wow! This was such a delicious sandwich, the flavor profile was unique which is just up my alley! Definitely need to go back to try the rest of the items on the menu, my next choice will be the Ohana! If in Montclair you have to stop by you won't be disappointed....the pastrami brought me back to my childhood memories, but was even better!"

"First time here and it’s not even a choice…They had me at The Dutch Daddy! Melted cheese, bacon, thinly sliced pastrami, combo with a toasted brioche AND hot damn does Dutch’s have the sauce! Chef’s kiss on the perfect breakfast sammie."

"I’ve heard about this place from the internet and have been wanting to try it for some time now. The owner greeted us right away and he was so friendly and welcoming! They have breakfast sandwich options too and salads and wraps. The sandwiches we ordered were The Driver and The Rhaenyra. We ordered The Rhaenyra with sriracha mayo instead of balsamic glaze and it was soooooo good. I’m sure it would’ve been great with the balsamic glaze too because it’s similar to an Italian but great if you want extra spice. The Driver was simpler. They make their chicken cutlets in house according to the owner! Great flavors, chicken wasn’t dry, fresh bread. Definitely recommend stopping in for a filling and delicious lunch. I’ll be coming back for sure to try other options as I couldn’t order everything all at once!"
