"Just had soup. Very good. Employees very nice, good service. Reasonable prices. Very busy. Little tables. Comfortable, nice atmosphere."
"Never disappointed with my order this time it was phone order. The lady who picked up the phone was very helpful."
"it breaks my heart to write this review. I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over a year now. Today, I ordered "pechurinas, guandules, and white rice" for lunch. when I order lunch, I share with my toddler, and as usual today I ate my part and left some for him. Once he got home, I was getting ready to warm up his food. when I served the guandules, a worm was in the guandules. I just felt like vomiting. I feel sick to my stomach just thinking I ate this and almost served my toddler. when I called the restaurant hoping there was some sort of protocol in place if something like this happened. I was told" we are sorry we can send you something else." "we honestly have no control of things like as our guandules come in a can and they come cooked. we just remove the water and cook it. " I went on to say that even if it comes in a can, it needs to be rinsed or washed. the lady was apologetic and mentioned she would inform the owner and no longer do business with the vendor. I am honestly in shock. the thought of feeding my toddler just makes me sick. I asked several times if they want pictures and she said "no is ok no proof is required" which makes me believe this is normal or just don't care."
"Always fresh food, the meat is always soft and comes off the bones easily! True Dominican stables always hot and ready. My local spot for Authentic Dominican food at a reasonable price."
"The food is ok. The only plate that has really stood out to me when it comes to taste is their “pollo al cadero”. I’ve been here on numerous occasions. Trying a different plate each time. The price for the order I would say is a bit on the high end when compared to prices and quantity of other near by establishments. Their pork meat is usually on the undercooked side, the boneless chicken breast is very bland. With that being said owner and employees are awesome great attention to service, and always seem eager to please. If you do visit try the “pollo al caldero” you will not be disappointed."
