"You will enjoy good African homemade food. Their price is also excellent"
"I came 3 times to try my favorites: egusi soup, red stew & pounded yam. The goat wasn’t that fresh & the soup was ok. Tasted like it was refrigerated. Second time, same order. The egusi was very dry but the goat was fresh. Last try, same order no difference. I’m in love with Nigerian food & this is the only Nigerian restaurant in the Bronx. I really want to try again but I can’t keep spending money."
"It's about the only place (I know of) one can get authentic Nigerian food. Food is 4 stars. Also impressed that they have kept AND maintained great ambience. One time I was there toilet looked shabby, by the time I returned 2 weeks.. all redone. It's the little things that count.. All said and done, it's a restaurant and the food is gooooood!!"
"I frequently get take out, usually efo (Fish) with pounded yam. Today I ordered 3 efo with pounded yam , okro soup with eba and a side of jollof rice. My oder was missing 1 pounded yam and the fish- which was included in all 4 of my orders, had scales on them. I was so disappointed because this has never happened before. I will be back to share this unfortunate incident with the staff and hopefully they will get it right next time. The upside of this is customer service is great. Amma was friendly while I waited more than 30 minutes for my order."
