Reviews
"Quality has deteriorated at Columbia. What a shame."
"Fast and friendly staff, plenty of quantity and options. Knowledgeable staff based on medical needs. Pricing has become more reasonable in the last few months..."
"nice quality stuff is cheaper price I like it I was in there first time"
"Poor selection. They allow people to come buy 200 coats but God help you if you want one. Could be very easily solved with per guest limits. Go to LL Bean instead."
"The store was fairly busy on Black Friday, but I've seen it busier. Despite this, the sales representative who I asked help from, was not particularly helpful. I asked where the women's thermal underwear was located and she said, "we don't have any". Hmmm...very strange considering it was Fall and for sure they would have had thermal underwear. I mean, there were winter jackets and other clothing already out in display. So then I asked where the men's thermal underwear are. To which she pretended to crane her neck in an attempt to seem like she was searching for me. Then she told me the same answer that they must have run out. My wife and I thanked her and decided to look for ourselves. We couldn't find the women's thermal underwear but found men's thermal underwear. I didn't want to aggravate the pain in my back and knees anymore then I had to by browsing the whole store and having to deal with a crowd of bargain starved shoppers. So we settled for the men's thermal underwear. We bought a size that I hope will fit my mother because it is a Christmas present for her. Then there was some kind of mix-up at the register that involved the cashier entering the wrong price for one of my items, and some problems crediting me my rewards points. That cost us another 20 minutes in the store. My wife pointed this out to her as she was ringing up our items and she told my wife that everything was entered correctly because it's all scanned by the computer. When we exited the store and went over the receipt with a fine tooth comb, we saw that my wife was correct when she noticed the cashier entered the wrong price. So she had to return back to the store to settle the matter. Thankfully the stores main manager got involved and fixed everything; including crediting us the correct rewards points. Seems to me that some of the employees were tired from all the extra work they had to put in for the holidays, and some don't seem to be that well trained. Either way, we've usually had fairly good experiences shopping in the store in the past. But shopping here on Black Friday 2021 was a bit more than irritating. I'm not going to give up on the store just yet because everybody is entitled to a bad day here and then. So hopefully our pleasant shopping experience will return on future visits."
