"Ordered a cheeseburger. The patty seemed home made and thick, but burger itself was on the smaller side on a wonderbread bun, but pretty good. Forget asking for anything on it, they don't carry lettuce or tomatoes etc. Was not offered any sides with it. If you don't ask you don't get. Ordered ribs with bbq sauce on the side, my son and wife didn't like it. Cole slaw was ok, mac and cheese looked good. Chilli was excellent! tasted exactly like the one we get from Trader Joe's. Corn bread was excessively sugary. Service was good but appeared to be somewhat strained. There was a unpleasant smell outside almost successfully masked by the firepit. Overall 4 stars for small but tasty homemade burger and delicious chilli. Hot tea with "free refill" no one offered to refill..."

"Went for lunch today with high expectations, but the meal was a mixed bag. Husband loved his brisket sandwich; although the thin bun was quite soggy on the bottom, there was plenty of well-seasoned meat. His side of mac and cheese was delicious and definitely homemade. I had a loaded pulled-pork sandwich, which was...interesting. The cole slaw was absolutely delicious, but it was about 2/3 of the sandwich, with the remaining 1/3 under-seasoned and cool (not hot) pork. The strangest thing was the bun, which appeared to be a normal Kaiser roll until I tried to pick it up. The bottom part of the bun was only 1/4 inch thick and completely soaked from the slaw. There was absolutely no way to pick up the sandwich to eat with my hands. Even the paper underneath was soggy. I carefully used a knife and fork and did actually enjoy the taste of the sandwich very much. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries, which were steak-cut wedges with skin on (extra fiber, ok with me) and came with marshmallow fluff for dipping (yum!). Unfortunately, the fries that were mostly skin were very tough, and the rest were under cooked and crunchy. Both plates came with large pickle wedges (not house-made). BBQ sauce (also commercially made but very tasty) was on every table. With two bottles of soda, our total came to just over $47 (not incl. tip), which I thought was expensive for what we received. The service was very good, however, and the atmosphere pleasant enough. I wouldn't refuse to dine here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way either."

"If you want some good authentic BBQ, you will find better options at a carnival. This location relies solely on its location of convenience there being nothing else much around. With that they also will charge you an arm and a leg. Try 13 dollars for a Pulled pork sandwich. Thats it, sandwich alone. They dont have "meals" (side and a drink) all of that costs extra. It cost over 20 dollars to gwt a sandwich, fries and a water bottle. When asked if they sandwich came with fries the woman waitress, who was also working the counter, said in the most snooty tone that "It comes with a pickle" like we should have been grateful it even had the pickle. Well was the sandwich good? No not at all. Luke warm pulled pork that was so greasy the bun went soggy and mush. Fries were no better, they seem home made but they were so soggy. Legit were like mcdonald fries. All these 5 star reviews have to be tourist who have never had real BBQ."

"Took advice from the internet and made the trip out to this spot - totally worth it! The ribs were fall off the bone tender, and the brisket fries were awesome. Cornbread was more like corn cake but also excellent. My dining guest had the roast chicken and is picky about BBQ...even he said he'd be back. And if you leave room there's also ice cream!"
