"Main point: Go to Johari, and have a fitting with Julianna. Thanks to her, my excruciating lower back pain is gone. Like most important things, the correct bra is a nuanced selection. By correct, I mean, in terms of functionality. A bra is a vital, foundational garment that, for most women, provides physical support that is imperative for our every day needs. Last year, I found myself experiencing lower back pain that is almost indescribable. My primary care physician ruled out internal ailments (e.g., kidney infection), and it was my chiropractor's hypothesis that my bra could be the source of the problem. He was right. Go to Johari, and have a fitting with Juliana. I own an IT consulting business, and my work has shown me that issues are often the result of small incompatibilities that, if left unresolved, can cause a system to break down. My diagnostics are often unconventional, but they yield results that are accurate and profoundly corrective. The same could be said for Julianna. I couldn't understand how my lower back pain was caused by my incorrectly sized bra (my bra "fit", but it wasn't the right size). I couldn't understand how she was choosing a bra by sight and a slew of factors about different brands that I knew nothing about. That said, in life, you don't know what you don't know. Again, go to Johari. Julianna has expertise that is based on an honestly vast knowledge of the different brands, their materials and proprietary cuts / stitching, and which combinations provide the right support for your unique needs."
"Today, I had a horrible and unprofessional experience at Johari in Montclair, New Jersey. The sales person was very condescending, rude, and abrasive to my teenage daughter whilst she shopped. Past experiences shopping at Johari were pleasant and the staff was helpful, however on this occasion, the sales person created a distaste towards the shop. The salesperson treated me like I couldn’t afford a $70 bra. I didn’t know that I had to wear my business suit to be treated kindly. Upon my daughter inquiring about bra recommendations, they asked to see what she was currently wearing and the sales person openly expressed her dislike of the bra. She coldly asked how much it cost and patronized the purchase and its brand. My daughter indicated she lost weight since her last bra purchase at the store and they told her to go to the fitting room and they’d bring a better fit. The sales person provided two bras that were ill fitting and at the end of the trip, we decided not to purchase the bras. To my amazement, I was charged $4o for a bra sizing for my daughter. However, during the period where my daughter was in the fitting room, no measurements were taken. According to the owner, a visual inspection suffices even though, again, the bras did not fit. When I inquired about the charge, I was told that’s the standard to view someone’s breasts from afar to make a determination of the proper bra size. However, on previous occasions, they actually fitted my daughter with a proper bra. I begrudgingly purchased a bra to avoid a confrontation and remain dignified. Coincidentally, the purchase of a bra forgoes the bra fitting fee. In addition to the new policy, the staff was generally rude. When I brought the employee’s behavior to the owner’s attention, she, along with the employee, were dismissive while the employee continually rolled her eyes. Never again will I go into this store with patronising attitudes and nasty expressions."

"This place is beyond anything I expected. The owner made me so comfortable and she shared information that I never knew about bras….. you would think it’s common sense but unfortunately it’s not. I highly recommend this establishment for all of your bra and fitting needs. She has every size needed in her store. The owner is wonderful and knowledgeable about her craft. Love her!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"If you wear bras, you should definitely make an appointment with them. I've been there twice. First time in 2021 when I worked with Deborah. I had such a nice experience, I even left wearing one of the bras I had bought. It makes such a huge difference when you have a properly fitted bra that lifts and supports in all the right places. I went again this month so I could have other options. I worked with Juliana. I love that she just brought me bras that worked for my size and style I wanted. She was so easy to talk to and we had a candid conversation about why certain bra styles will not work for me. (Still have the bras from 2021 and they are in great condition. )"
