Bruegger's Bagels

"My breakfast sandwich was so amazing and delicious, but that's not my compliment. My boyfriend picked up our orders, and when he got home, we realized I had eggs instead of egg whites. I'm allergic to egg yolk. My boyfriend and I went back. The whole staff was so nice and remade my sandwich for me. The cashier and I chatted, and we honestly aren't sure who made the mistake, her, the other staff, or my boyfriend. It might have been her missing hearing him. No one's fault, really, but they made it right and made me the most delicious sandwich that won't make me sick, free of charge, of course. I'm so grateful. Thank you so much!"

"Stopped for bagels on our way out of town! Bagels are good but lady behind the counter messed up my order. In today’s world I don’t know why your register doesn’t allow cashier to punch in type of bagel @ 6 quantity. She had to punch in each bagel individually. I ordered a bagel bundle. Bagels I chose - 6 everything, 4 French toast & 4 cinnamon sugar. Was asked with or without raisin - said no raisin as I don’t care for them. Paid extra for 2 varieties. My order was wrong! Received 6 everything, 2 French toast & 5 sugar raisin. Couldn’t go back as I found the error after driving home 4 1/2 hours. I see they charge extra for French toast and cinnamon sugar so I paid extra for items that I didn’t get. Pretty bad you have to charge extra and not give customer what they ordered to make your money. Beware, may be their scam!!!"

"The service was very poor. It took the employees two tries to my order correct. The person at the counter could not spell my name. Not sure why it was so difficult to prepare my order, considering there were more fingers on my right hand than customers in the Snyder- location store at the time. There was very poor communication between the associates. I don’t understand why it was necessary to remake my order twice before getting it right. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and lettuce and tomato. It’s less than what I should expect from a business that sells bagels and coffee served with garnishes and condiments at a higher price point than other area establishments. I’m very disappointed with the service."

"Gave my name to the cashier and started spelling it for her and she said “well just call you Jen.” This has never happened to me before but I found it kind of disrespectful especially since my name is not complicated at all and everyone deserves to be called their own name, no matter how complicated. Food is usually fine, although they don’t toast their bagels nearly enough. The team there seems extremely dysfunctional since every time I’ve been in (this is my third time now) they have a customer coming back saying their order was incorrect."

"Bagels are pretty good. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and a dozen bagel combo. I arrived at around 6:40 am with only 1 person in front of me. I never left until 7:10 am. I received my dozen bagels and cream cheese but had to wait for my breakfast sandwiches. They forgot about my order. The guy that took my order (who I believe may have been the manager) was a prize package. When I first went to place my order, I thought it would be smart to order my sandwiches first so that they could be prepared while the dozen bagels were being bagged. I got snipped at by the man saying to give him my bagel order first and then after realizing my logic, changed his mind. When he saw me waiting at 7:00 am, he asked what I was waiting for. I told him and he said it was being worked on. Five minutes later, he looked at me and asked very rudely what I was waiting for again and I said 2 breakfast sandwiches and very rudely asked what kind. There were only 3 other people that came in after me and they had left, and none of the orders were anything more than bagels and cream cheese. I'd hate to see what happens when it's actually busy. Hopefully they get their act together. I had been at the Hopkins Road location previously and they were fantastic. I went during their grand opening. The place was jam packed and I received my order very quickly. They had their act together. Went to Main & Harlem because it's closer to home, but after seeing the disorder, I'll stick with Hopkins Road."
