"Wow awesome dumplings so far. So many more to try. I had pan fried house dumplings and mini sesame balls. Worth every peny. Dumplings had a great balance of pork, cabbage and onions. Sesame balls were a perfect end to the meal"
"Absolutely loved this place.. The pork lo mein was delicious, amazing flavor. The pork and chive dumplings were also amazing. The chives were very very strong and overpowered the pork. So if you're not a chive person I would kind of stay away. The pork belly buns were amazing. Barbecue pork bao. Was a very doughy for my taste and not enough stuffing. But it was still pretty good. The pork belly buns I also thought was a little bit on the doughier side.. I seen other reviews that said there was stuff that tasted like it was frozen.. never got that vibe from any of the stuff I ordered. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitely come here again."
"My fiance and I first had xiao long bao (soup dumplings) in NYC earlier this year and became obsessed with them. When we returned to Buffalo, we were determined to find a place that had them but couldn’t find anything. We were thrilled to hear about OG Dumpling House opening and decided to go check them out. The dumplings rivaled the ones we had in NYC and were incredible. We also had the scallion pancakes which were the best I have ever had. The service was fast and friendly. It was a Friday night and every table was packed but we still got our food and dessert quickly. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night to do it all again. Thank you for bringing amazing dumplings to Buffalo!!"
"Being Chinese and coming from NYC along with having frequently travelled to Hong Kong and China I've been privileged to have had some great dim sum and dumplings. This is not the case here. We were excited to try this place, but, it was a disappointment. We came on a Saturday at about 2:00pm at the end of the lunch hour. It was busy and the wait was short for a table for 2. The shumai was "fishy" tasting and not pork or beef as we were expecting. The beef wide rice noodle ("ho fun") was greasy and the beef was nothing special neither in quality or quantity. We've had better beef ho fun at Eastern Pearl nearby down Maple Road. The shrimp dumpling ("har gow") was tasteless and a bit gummy. The BBQ pork buns were doughy. Nothing seemed fresh. Like other local Chinese restaurants, they probably ship it in FROZEN from a food distributor. Possibly, they get it from their Rochester location. Either way, we probably won't go back, especially not for $50 for two including tax and tip. We could get 3X the food with better quality buying it frozen at the Asia Market down Niagara Falls Blvd in the Home Depot Plaza. Service was good and overall clean. Staff are mostly, if not all, younger Asians. More pics on Yelp."
"The servers were super friendly, nice and informative. We loved the handmade pork and napa dumplings and the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) were to die for! Not a fan of the steamed chicken Bao but that was a texture dislike for me. We tried some noodle dishes and they did not disappoint. Pad Thai was flavorful, the Beef Brisket Noodle was huge and tasty and the Beef Flat Rice Noodle was so good too. I loved the Scallion Pancake and the Crab Ragoon comes with an option of getting 15! They were all gone in minutes."
