Wendy's

"Trust me, take the extra 5 min drive to the Erie blvd or park street locations. The Wendy’s on James street is a joke. EASILY the worst Wendy’s in New York State. They consistently stop taking orders after 10 pm, mobile orders only. Even then they will still deny you after placing the order, and then argue with you making stupid remarks such as “we don’t own google” when told they should turn off mobile orders on the kiosk so others don’t make the mistake of coming to this trash location like I did. Food is always cold, and old. Not only is it unsanitary and unsafe but it’s disgusting that this location has been ran like this for months and really should be knocked down. Thank you."

"Dining area sign said it was supposed to be open from 7am to 10 pm but at 1230pm it was still locked. Food was not the typical Wendy's where it's fresh. It was all fried up and cold. French fries and nuggets were cold too. Got a large froaty and it was the same size cup as a small soda. Crazy. And the drive thru speaker was all garbled up and the person couldn't hear each other. Not sure if the owner is cheap at this store or if Wendy's has gone down hill that much. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Would recommend gas station food over going here. Save your money."

"If you go here past 10 am it’s usually alright. Whether or not the staff are rude seems to be a coin flip. The main issue is that the app and door dash both will let you order from here at 7 am, but don’t if you want to actually get food. I try every weekend to get breakfast before work here and I have to cancel every time to order from a different Wendy's much further away. The store SEEMS open but the openers here are too busy ignoring the drive through. Can’t get a person to acknowledge you before 10 am. If it’s some kind of understaffing issue, I’d really much rather have some kind of sign on the drive through saying they're not taking orders at the moment. At least when the nearby McDonalds breaks their supposed open times in the early morning they will (rudely) tell you they aren’t taking orders."

"This place has never been great. Drive through way too slow. Dine-in service very surly and unwelcoming. I was craving a Wendy's burger but it was dry and overcooked. I don't know why I keep giving it a chance tbh when there is a far superior Burger King 2 minutes away on Thompson Rd. I probably won't be going back any time soon."

"It would be convenient to have consistent hours. Google says they’re open until 12 am, however that doesn’t seem to ever be the case. 03/18/2024 at 10 pm, all lights are off and can see works inside but they’re closed? Either stay consistent or fix the hours on google."
