"Absolutely beautiful course to golf at. Very long though!! I'm new to golf and attended my first tournament. It was wonderful but exhausting for me. I have no complaints. They catered the event and I have to say the food was on point!! Filet was cooked perfectly and the chicken Alfredo was delicious. Was a buffet style dinner and still everything was great!!"
"I am a summer resident in the NY Southern Tier, and this is by far my favorite course in the area. The course design is outstanding, with the front 9 meandering along lowlands on the Susquehanna River, and the back 9 winding through some moderate hills. There are six holes on the back 9 where the tee boxes are on top of hills and you hit down to the fairways below, with the 18th being the most challenging. The 18th fairway winds around a big lake along the left side that tempts players to bite off more than they can chew with their tee shot. The course is called "The Links" because there are virtually no trees along the fairways, with the rough being a fescue type of grass reminiscent of Scottish links. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens (fast bent grass) are always in great shape; however, the sand traps could use more and finer grained sand. The cart paths are bumpy and need to be re-paved, but they are acceptable. The range and practice greens are spectacular, with quality range balls and real grass everywhere - no mats. The clubhouse is nice with a pub and outdoor deck located above the 18th green, and it is fun to sit on the deck with a post-round beer and watch the other players coming in. The staff has always been pleasant in my experience, and the pro shop carries some very nice merchandise. This course is a bit pricier than others in the area, but it is worth it in my opinion. I highly recommend The Links at Hiawatha Landing."
"Whom ever has rated this course in the top 25 public courses in New York State needs a reality check. I’ll provide the good and bad from this visit. Reader; keep in mind as I write this review, I just spent the entire weekend in Binghamton playing three different courses. En-Joie (18 holes) on Friday, Conklin Players Club Saturday (36 holes) and Hiawatha (18 holes) on Sunday. The good: This is a beautiful designed links style course. Beautiful views with undulating fairways and greens. The fairways were maintained well and the green speed and firmness were perfect. The greens, fairways and design are what pushed this course from a 1 star review to a 3 star review. The bad: if you want to pay $75 dollars to play a course that smells like goose excrement and unplayable bunkers, look no further, this is your place. Bathe in the stink of rotten pond scum and goose excrement, chip from the clay bunkers or better yet dent your irons from the hard pan and fist sized stone in the other bunkers. It’s a shame honestly, this course has serious potential, they obviously know what they’re doing because the greens were amazing, but the bunkers and stink were too much. They claim to be the home course for Binghamton University, I say good luck to any collegiate athlete that has to hack through this track."
"We had a great time playing this course. A lot of interesting holes on this links style course. I highly recommend trying this one out."
"Very nice track. Layout is great and the condition is better than most considering the dry summer."
