"Delaware camera has helped me out a few times on gear and they're always friendly. Transactions go super smoothly. Even took a class here. Learned a ton in one session. Great stock, great people, great atmosphere."
"The first time I went this nice lady helped me and answered all my questions and told me I can bring my trade in. Weeks later I brought my trade in brand new value was about $500-600 I barely used the camera and I even had extra stuff to go with it, they offered me a measly $130, and told me my zoom lens trade in was worth $10, and didn't even bother to see what kind of condition it was in or if it worked, so how can you value something so low if you don't know it's condition... I get it you gotta make money but I was going to buy two new cam corders and some extra things."
"I sold them some camera equipment and they give you about a dollar per $100 of value for any equipment you bring in (using some person in the back that estimates the value of your gear to be worth nothing). I really regret selling them my cameras as it was a total rip-off. I also spent hundreds of dollars on processing medium format film and some of the rolls were old so they were blank- they said I would get film in return and instead gave me a card for some future processing and denied having told me that. I did not get refunded on the blank rolls. I also had slides processed but they never gave me the scans of the slides? I've been to a lot of camera stores and had film processed all over, and sold and bought equipment at small family run businesses. Usually this type of experience is a joy for me. My experiences here were so miserable next time I will probably drive to Rochester or send processing out."
"I haven't been here in a while and it was a pleasant surprise. Way more studio equipment and higher end cameras than I remember them having. I had some film developed and bought some apple boxes. I'll definitely be back. They also had a great assortment of Sony and Canon mirrorless cams up to some premium models. Great local resource."
"The first two scans I took at exactly the same time and place, the white balance of the scans just shift dramatically. I asked for a rescan which is the third image, now the image is out of focus. In conclusion, personally I would not go again to let my film rolls scanned there and I do not recommend doing so. Nowadays, fewer people are willing to shoot films. I was happy to see places like this that still doing the development but just unacceptable service for scans. (Next part was added after I saw the reply from the store) I was never satisfied by what you guys are doing, you said you are professional and you have professional devices but you cannot achieve those easiest asks. You have no way to solve the image cropping without losing focus, you cannot even set a fixed white balance from the reshoot camera. I accepted your offer only because you told me that’s the best you can do, image cropping or focus right, I have to choose one. But I assume these are the fundamental things that I should not be mentioning about. I cannot see why I should be satisfied."
