Reviews
"Well stocked, great variety of snacks and beverages and some grocery items. Nice menu with hot items to choose from for a lunch or dinner on the go"
"Im a late night eater and have tried to order a cold sub between 9 and 10 pm and have been told more often than not that food isn’t made after 9pm. But I have noticed the last 2 times I have been in to order that the staff has been chipper, customers are being greeted and helped efficiently. After speaking with Mellisa she informed me that I can get cold food until close but hot food until 10. She was very pleasant, and answered me with a smile. Cheyenne made my food with a smile and thank you, and Zebulin went to get me milk, smiled and thanked me. The evening crew has changed for the better and they all deserve to know they are appreciated and valued."
"They need more pumps. They let people just sit there all day taking up the space for those who need gas while they screw around inside the station."
"I recently went there and I brought my service dog with me who is small and doesn’t bark or make any trouble and I was also carrying her. Upon entering, this older lady with blonde hair and blue eyes approached me and asked if she was a service dog. I replied yes and then she demanded to see my paperwork. I tried explaining that you cannot ask someone for their paperwork but she told me I was wrong and that I had to leave and my service dog wasn’t allowed inside the establishment. Here are the laws for NY state: Documentation is Not Required A public accommodation provider cannot ask about the nature or extent of a person’s disability and may not demand proof that the animal is certified. However, if it is not readily apparent that a dog is a service animal, they may ask, (1) if the animal is required because of a disability, and (2) what work the animal has been trained to perform. The business must allow the animal regardless of any stated “no pets” policy: a service animal is not a pet. Although some states have programs to certify service animals, certification is not required for a public accommodation. I have multiple disabilities but two of them include depression and anxiety, not that it’s her or anyone’s business, but my service dog helps with both of these disabilities and she sent my anxiety and blood pressure through the roof, which is extremely dangerous for my health. The previous review before my own was from someone that had a horrible experience with one of the employees using racial slurs. So not only have one of the employees recently been caught using discriminatory racial slurs, but now they are also discriminating against people with disabilities. This is the closest establishment/convenience store to home and I am no longer comfortable going in there."
"I used to live near the mini mart but I almost never went here, not sure why. Inside they sell a variety of items ranging from snacks, drinks, and liquor, to freshly made subs, pizzas, burgers, and more. There is an eating area inside (and outside, I guess) and free wifi as well. The gas pumps run slow if multiple people are pumping at the same time - be warned."
