"Wish i had the option to give 0/5 stars. This company is an absolute joke. Farthest thing from professional. Representative refused to identify herself and then hanging up on me entirely. Then, i spoke with the supposed “supervisor” Amy A. I then requested an itemized statement because i never received the one from my original request. I was told by said “supervisor” that “it is a waste of people’s time and money to send another one”. I again reiterated that I never got one the first time I requested and she again refused to provide an itemized statement. She also told me there “is much more to the process than i would know”. She refused to provide any further information on who I can get in touch with in the company. I will be contacting the State Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission."
"This HORRIBLE COMPANY! I have NEVER received any letters from them. Twice this has happened for a negligible amt. The first time a $22.00 hospital bill that had fallen through the cracks showed up on my credit. And resulted in 3 credit card companies reducing my available credit! TWENTY TWO DOLLARS! Why would a creditor even buy that low credit? Again today I get an email that there is a negative mark on my credit and AGAIN it is a 42 dollar and a 10 bill from Credit Collections. Maybe actually send these letters you claim you send or CALL you know like collectors do! Don't just put it on my credit report and screw me over on my available credit!"
"I would give 0 stars if I could. On May 28th 2021 I called credit collections usa to find out why I have medical bills on my credit when I am disabled and been disabled for years now. The first lady I talked to was very nice and polite and told me what was on there and from who and told me if I talked to the hospital and anything changed to just call her back ( this lady was very professional and polite). After hanging up I called University Healthcare and spoke with the billing department and they told me that I have a 0 balance ( meaning I don't owe anything and nothing should be on my credit report cause I have medicaid). The woman at university Healthcare was extremely polite and told me she would contact them by the weekend and let them know I dont owe anything. After hanging up with her I then called credit collections usa back to explain the change but this time I got a different woman. After I explained to her that University Healthcare was going to call them and let them know I owe nothing because I have medicaid or Medicare at the time she instantly changed her tone and got rude with me saying that it doesnt mean nothing cause Medicare doesn't pay for everything. She was telling me basically it didn't matter if I owed it or not she wasn't going to remove it from my credit report. I then stated that if it wasn't removed from my credit report (Because I don't owe it) I would get a lawyer. I stated it doesnt matter how much credit collections USA paid for the debt if I don't owe it, I dont owe it. It's pretty simple if you don't owe anything then why is it on my credit report? I was being nice and not trying to be rude cause I know mistakes happen. She then as unprofessional as possible hung up on me. I tried calling back because I don't want any problems with anybody and was just doing what the nice lady asked me to do and call back with the update in the first place. I am a very nice guy that suffers from PTSD and never want to argue with anyone or be rude with anyone because my head isn't quite right in the first place and I know it so I go out of my way to be very polite and to call people ma'am or sir. I called back immediately to defuse this woman that was so mad for reasons unknown and she saw my number I guess and picked up and said hold please. I then hung up cause I knew what she was doing and wanted to talk to a manager just to calm this woman down because in no way should she be in charge of anyones credit report with a temper like that. I will be contacting the BBB, consumer protection agency and WV attorney General to explain everything that has happened. It should have never come to this because I was just trying to be civil and find out how to get the fraudulent charges on my credit report removed. My illness and conscience can't just sit back and let this woman be in charge of people's credit reports. There should be a law to make sure people in that industry are stable. This is why I am not in that industry. I just called to get things resolved and was treated like garbage by this woman. I hope god grants her the piece of mind she needs. UPDATE: Credit Collections USA if you are reading this I contacted Patrick Morrisey the WV states attorney general and filed the complaint. You will be hearing from them very soon so I hope you have all your ducks in a row and aren't just shady scammers. My next one will be the consumer protection agency. I see that my disputes through the Credit bureaus against you were all canceled saying I canceled them which I did no such thing. I know you have access to my credit and did something really illegal and hacked my credit report and canceled the disputes. I have contacted the law and sent the new information to Patrick Morrisey. I have proof if you want to see the proof. I can't post the pics on here or I would. I ask you to please stop trying to blackmail me for money I don't owe! Stop touching and hacking into my credit report, it's illegal! Please do the right thing and take all 3 negative remarks I dont owe off of my reports Please. I never done anything."
"I was turned in to this agency by for a bill I owed for X-rays from a doctors visit . 37 dollars was turned into collections which was my fault. I called in January to pay off the full amount which was accepted by this company. I was told It would be taken off my credit and they reported weekly . It is now March 19th a full 2 months later , with 3 calls and 2 emails sent. The last email telling them that I was willing to do whatever it took to get them to take it off my credit since the amount had been paid in full. In the email I mentioned that I would be willing to file a complaint with equifax , and get an attorney if necessary. The employee on the phone when I called today (3-19)refused to speak to me about my account or taking it off my credit, because of the comments by me about equifax and taking them to court if necessary. Long story short. I paid my debt. They owe me the courtesy of removing and public attachments of them owning that debt. They refuse to do so and now it’s gotten personal. My credit is fine. It’s not ok the put someone in collections and hold them publicly hostage because they didn’t hold up their end. Kind of one sided in my opinion. Do what you say you're going to and treat a person like a person. They have done neither ."
"Will update my review as nessesary. Credit Col showed up on my credit report from a nationwide charge from 2015. I was never contacted by them via phone or mail. I called over the phone and asked to "negotiate for a pay for deletion" He looked at my account and verified that they had no address or phone number on file. He listened to my story and agreed to remove the credit entry on my credit report if the account was updated with current information and the debit was paid in full. (I had moved and was unaware of the debit to nationwide) I paid over the phone($192) and am currently waiting for a letter in the mail. So far a good experience, hopefully everything goes well and the delinquent account is removed as promised."
