"Moreover, the replacement pump they installed leaks, and the pressure it provides is unacceptable. Despite numerous attempts to address these issues with them, I have received no response. They charged me $6,000 for products worth only $1,000 and even damaged the pipe connecting my home to the well during installation. They demanded an additional $6,000 to fix their mistake and attempted to pressure my husband into agreeing to it without explanation. Fortunately, he declined. Instead, I rented a backhoe and rectified the situation myself for just $500, a task that took me, a disabled individual, only 3 hours. Their exorbitant demands are outrageous, especially considering the subpar service and the additional problems they caused. As for the issues with Mr. Electric, as I mentioned earlier, they coerced me into replacing the electrical box despite it not being necessary. When I attempted to withdraw from the arrangement, they threatened to dismantle their previous work. Reluctantly, I consented, only to overhear their workers threatening bodily harm to my family if we failed to pay them promptly. To compound matters, their workmanship was shoddy. They disconnected lines and refused to reconnect them, leaving my exterior lights without power. Additionally, they removed my oven line and declined to reconnect it, citing falsely that it wasn't initially connected. Consequently, I had to rectify this on my own when my new oven arrived. And the price for this incompetence? A staggering $6,000 for a new 125-amp box with a single 240-volt line, a task that took merely 4-6 hours. They charged me $6,000 for a $100 breaker box and basic installation, equating to nearly $1,000 to $1,500 an hour. In conclusion, Neighborly and its affiliated companies are not businesses I would ever endorse. Multiple plumbers and electricians who have visited my home for other issues have all confirmed that I paid four times the standard rate. Four times! This means I handed over $12,000 for work that should have cost me only $3,000. So, as I've stated before, steer clear of them unless you enjoy being overcharged and receiving subpar service."
