Community Guidelines:

1. Dealing With Door-to-Door Salespersons and Vendors:

Residents of Mars are advised to be cautious when approached by door-to-door salespersons and vendors. Ensure they have a proper permit issued by the Mars Borough Office, signed by the Officer in Charge or the officer on duty, and a company picture ID displayed on their person. If you feel unsafe or encounter aggressive behavior, do not hesitate to call 9-1-1.

2. Fingerprinting Services:

Please note that the Mars Borough Police Department does not provide fingerprinting services. For fingerprinting, visit the neighboring Police Department in Cranberry Township. 3. Vacation Check Service:

If you are going on vacation for an extended period, the Mars Borough Police Department offers a Vacation Check service for your residence/property. Complete the necessary form and return it to the Police Department by dropping it off at the Borough office or mailing it to: Mars Borough Police Department, PO Box 395, Mars, PA 16046.

4. Right-to-Know Requests:
