Reviews of 3rd Street Gallery
"The 3rd Street Gallery is a fabulous venue for any special event. We hosted my daughter's Bridal Shower at the gallery, and the attendees raved about the art, the music, and the space. Phil, the artist & owner, along with his intern, Christine, helped with setup and offered recommendations. We also hired Rick, a piano player, to play jazz; Phil jumped in with his Bass Cello. I highly recommend The 3rd Street Gallery!"
"Phil is great to work with and is a fantastic artist, to say the very least."
"We always look forward to attending special events here, particularly Jazz nights hosted by Phillip Salvato who is an excellent painter and upright bass player. Very friendly and warm ambiance, great art on display, and excellent musicians (we often see Don Aliquo Sr. and his group). The best thing is you get to bring your own wine and light food to go with the show! This is a great place to meet very interesting people who appreciate jazz in an intimate quiet setting."
"Philip I just want to take the time to thank you for hosting the Pittsburgh Society of artists show at your beautiful studio and gallery. My wife and I had a lovely time and I enjoyed the show. I especially loved seeing your portraits and expressive landscapes. Thank you for taking the time to chat with us and thank you for making your gallery accessible to people with wheelchairs, with your portable ramp. This is greatly appreciated, and I had an absolutely wonderful evening. Cheers Bryan"
"Nice art. That said, absolutely nobody in the gallery. No cameras. No security. Nobody to ask about purchasing work, even when I yelled. I hope the artists realize their work is unprotected!"
