"I broke down on my motorcycle, and they let me fix it in one of their bays. Nice people."
"I thought this site was to review the ambulance services? My husband has a disability and has fallen more often in recent months. I cannot lift him and have had to call the Kirwan Heights Ambulance for help. Each and every time the the EMTs/Paramedics have shown compassion and professionalism and we are so thankful for their help. Austin, Nathan, Micah and others have helped us and we sincerely thank you. Keep up the awesome work - you'll never know how much we appreciate you."
"See above review about how Joe sold a broken down van to my parents, claiming it was in excellent condition. He preyed on unsuspecting, hopeful, in-need people who are now stuck with a pile of junk."
"Per my father Since my fall in 2016 that left me in a wheelchair, I just wanted to fill people in about the used wheelchair van my wife purchased for me. It did have 112,000 mile, but Joe from Kirwan Heights VFD/EMS told her it had a new motor, and new transmission, and a new exhaust system. This was the "chief's baby". They really really took care of it. It was "cherry" he told her. The rusty looking discoloration on the floor was not rust but a sealant they used to seal the inside floor of the wheelchair van. Any problems, just bring it back. Let's see,so far, 8-4-2017 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON: INTERNAL TRANSMISSION CODES REPLACED TRANSMISSION COOLER TUBES 1 HOSE-OIL COOLER PRESSURE AND RET. FOUND BLOWER MOTOR IS FAILED -NECESSARY TO REPLACE. 9-20-2017, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON: (less than 200 miles later) FOUND CODES LEADING BACK TO VVT SOLENOIDS -REPLACED 4 VARIABLE VALVE SOLENOIDS. FOUND CODE LEADING TO LARGE EVAP LEAK- 10-6-2017, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON: (71 miles later) FOUND CODE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR BANK 1 FAILED - REPLACED SENSOR 5-4-2018, at 113,613 (not even 1,000 Mi. since we bought the van) CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON: FOUND CODE OTHER CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR FAILED - REPLACED SENSOR. REPLACED BROKEN OIL FILTER HOUSING REPLACED BOTH PLATE LIGHTS REPLACED FRONT BRAKE PADS. NO COLD AIR FROM AC--- EVACUATE AND RECHARGE AC SYSTEM INSTALLED DYE KIT. Would not pass inspection, the floor deck was rusted thru. 6-13-18 2 FEET OF NEW FLOOR PLATES WELDED ON THE VAN. 6-21-18 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON: didnt get a chance to take it to a mechanic yet. When i emailed them back the Chief's replay was, " It was sold as is , we’ll contact our attorney to contact you!" Still waiting to hear from them!. So at least $3000 in repairs later... I would be very reluctant to buy a cookie from The Kirwan Heights VFD/EMS, if they were having a bake sale fund raiser. Definitely do not buy a hoagie if there is a hoagie sale."
