"Doesn't look fancy at all on the outside, but the inside was the perfect venue for a phenomenal wedding reception! Not sure who catered, but the food was excellent (and I normally think wedding food is underwhelming)!"

From start to finish they showed us kindness, knowledge, compassion for the Big Day and went above and beyond our expectations (even going to the store mid reception to buy us alcohol that we were running low on) l. They are extremely accommodating and do anything you ask. The possibilities were endless with them. They made the entire experience enjoyable and completely stress free. I HIGHLY recommend them."

"As a local vendor and seasoned event professional, I have never experienced the level of disrespect I received at the Chartiers Room. My husband and I were publicly berated by one of the employees while tearing down our equipment over a small amount of gaff tape (the industry standard as it is easy to remove, doesn’t damage surfaces and is anti slip). When the event we had set up for and attended had finished, this employee immediately walked to our set up and began forcibly removing the tape my husband was already taking up. We tried asking him to stop and explaining that the means by which the employee was removing the offending tape was in fact making a bigger problem that necessary and to let us take care of it. Unbeknownst to us, the contract at the venue allegedly states no tape. This was never communicated to us and their employees saw us setting up. Had someone kindly stated this, we would have come up with a solution. For safety reasons, we use tape to cover cords unless a venue wants to provide an alternative or if someone communicates the requirement in advance often times I can accommodate the request. The floor is porcelain tile and just needed a more patience when being removed to keep residue off the floor. Even so, it comes up with a little tap of the used tape to lift any small bit that’s left behind. This argument didn’t need to happen and we tried calmly talking with him multiple times. This man proceeded to shout at us about the tape and that we’re never allowed back, which is fine by me as I’d never take an event there again when the staff is so rude and unprofessional. Vendors beware, safety and professionalism aren’t a concern here."
