About the Business
Welcome to Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, located in the serene village of Crossingville in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Our parish is a vibrant community of the Orthodox Christian Faith, which traces its roots back to the Apostles and the day of Holy Pentecost in the Year 33 AD. We are proud members of the Archdiocese of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA).
Our church embodies the rich traditions and teachings of the Orthodox Christian Faith. The Orthodox Church is evangelical, yet distinct from Protestantism; it is orthodox, but not Jewish; it is catholic, but not Roman. It is not non-denominational; it is pre-denominational. This faith has been believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for throughout history. It is the Faith that has established the universe!
Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church is a place where history and faith converge. We honor the lives and sacrifices of numerous saints who have shaped our faith, such as the Hieromartyr Eutyches, a disciple of the holy Apostles John the Theologian and Paul, and Saint Peter, Metropolitan of Moscow, whose relics have been venerated since the 14th century. We also remember other revered figures like Saint Arsenius of Komel, the Martyr Tation, the martyr Syra, Saint George Limniotes, and New Hieromartyr Cosmas, among others.
Our church is not just a place of worship; it is a living testament to the enduring legacy of the Orthodox Christian Faith. We invite you to join us in our services and experience the profound spiritual heritage that has been handed down through the ages. Whether you are a lifelong Orthodox Christian or exploring the faith for the first time, you are welcome at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church.

"This was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had at an Orthodox Church. My husband and I are converts to the Faith, and this was the first Church my non-Orthodox mother attended for a Sunday Divine Liturgy. Father Daniel, the clergy, and all the parishioners were so kind, welcoming, and made us all feel right at home. We were invited to stay for coffee hour and met a lot of amazing people. If you’re from the area or just passing by, I highly recommend attending. My mother, a non-practicing Catholic, even had so many good things to say about the service and this parish. Glory to God! ☦️"

"My grandfather Mike Yocina helped build this church. I have moved and miss the dinners and services. Especially the Choir."
