"Amazing and beautiful church. My son was christened at St. Elias and the feeling of community was abundant. Father Kevin is wonderful man."
"Love my church. Love our priest."
"There was a very earnest sense of worship , it did not matter that the church was not my denomination, there was true worship. The building is a very nice well organized Church. A very Vibrance sanctuary, and then a nice small banquet room for meals after a service or for a special event in the same building"
"Very beautiful church with a family closer than my blood relatives."
"San Elias Orthodox Church started out on Reynolds Street a small Church with a big heart. It was one of the 3 Orthodox churches on Reynolds and Mill Street Area. Saint Nicholas which is still located on Mill street. Behind Saint Nicholas was the old Greek Orthodox Church which is Now a vacant Lot there is a new St George Greek Orthodox Church off of Wilmington Road across from Saint Camillus Church. And Saint Elias was located where Plaza south is located now. The old st. Elias was demolished like the Saint George church further down Reynolds and the new Saint Elias was built 1969. St. Elias parish Was mostly Syrian Orthodox but now has an eclectic Parish with many Various Orthodox Patrons, from Greek Ukrainian Russian Serbian Syrian Lebanese and many more Patrons joining the Saint Elias parish.
