"This is why I’m giving this place a 2. I’ve been a customer for two or three yrs. I primarily wear glasses (90%) of the time. Glasses need adjusted every so often when you wear them so much. I have toddlers, they get pushed off my face, etc. I stopped by the office four times before they, reluctantly agreed to tighten my glasses for me. Every time I pop in the office the tell me I need an appointment to get my glasses tightened/adjusted, excuse me what? I don’t have time for that, who does? Finally this last time, as the lady reluctantly tightened my glasses (great) she was too busy to check them or anything. So now I have crooked glasses and I’m sure they will not be willing to adjust without a two month ahead appointment. It’s the little things like this that are highly frustrating. I will be switching doctors. Kathy on the office is great. The girls are nice I just don’t understand why they think adjusting eye glasses is equivalent to moving mountains."
"Dr. Mastrian and all of the staff were so patient and kind, they answered all my questions and went above and beyond helping me with explaining the exam process to helping me select the best fitting glasses. As a first time need to the optical world, I appreciate the time Dr. Mastrian and the staff spent with me, did not feel rushed, it was very comfortable."
"Always a great experience with Dr. Lou. After being out of the area for 7 years, I was pleased to be able to get an appointment and it’s still the same great treatment I experienced before. What I’ve always loved about coming here are his thorough explanations and the use of technology for early detection of potential issues."
"I just moved to Hermitage from California so i needed a new eye doctor. Everyone here was so nice. They were able to fit me in after someone else cancelled. They were all so nice and helpfulm the doctor was great and explained everything to me and so forth . The lady helping me pick out new glasses was fantastic. I will definitely be bringing my whole famiky in."
"I have been going to Mastrian for years! I love him! He is very great with kids also. I recently took my son there for his annual eye exam. We got glasses made and he is having issues with the new Rx. I called up there to see if he can get a retraction, which is an appointment to check his Rx and a lady named Amy told me she couldn’t see my son for a year. I told her there’s no way when he was just seen in your office and his Rx is off. She then told me she would call me if something came available, I let her know I would need a set date and time, you can’t just call me when you want, I have a job and I have to plan ahead. I then askede to speak to the office manager and she said she wasn’t available and she would have her return my call. I received a call from AMY with a message from the office manager and I specifically said I wanted to speak to the office manager. She didn’t even have the decency to call me back and speak with me about my experience. There is no way I couldn’t have my son seen again for a refraction and he was just in the office. I wouldn’t go back. I’ll find a new office and it’s sad because I loved the doctor. Also, I work as an optician for an optometrist. I know how things work. Just rude staff."
