"I love taking classes here. I love this place. Only thing is that the CSCC PD falsely accused me of stalking another student, when really I was just doing my weekly walks around the campus. It’s one of my hobbies, I been doing it for 6 years now. Maybe if they listened to both sides of the story, they would get a better understanding of the situation. Keep trying guys, keep trying."
"Can't stop car thefts but they sure as hell can track your car down to ticket you! Typical cops. They need to make parking free or at least wait until financial aid comesprior too ticketing people. Punishing the poor as always."
"I recently had the opportunity to explore Columbus State Community College (CSCC), and my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The campus strikes a perfect balance between being lively and offering quiet spaces for study and reflection. One of the highlights for me was the quality of instruction; the professors are knowledgeable and genuinely invested in student success. The college's facilities, including fast internet, a great cafe, and well-maintained heating and cooling systems, make the academic environment comfortable and conducive to learning. I was particularly impressed with the diversity and vibrancy of student life, which is a testament to CSCC's inclusive culture. Its proximity to Ohio State University is a significant advantage, offering ease of transfer for those looking to continue their education. Moreover, the diverse student population, including many younger students, adds to the dynamic atmosphere of the campus. While there are areas that can be cold at times, it's a minor issue compared to the overall experience. CSCC's location in Columbus, Ohio, is a huge plus, providing students with ample opportunities both on and off-campus.Overall, CSCC stands out as an excellent institution for higher learning, blending academic rigor with a supportive and diverse community. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comprehensive college experience."
"I have spent thousands of dollars a here and the entire learning experience has been difficult- everything from initial orientation to registration. There is no one who can assist along the way, the faculty put barriers in their own way as well as frequent personnel changes that leave people unaware of what or where to go. I am paying full price, no loans, no grants and am astonished at how not one person can communicate where to easily find my basic answers. I keep getting the - that had been updated- they have a new name, I think...- I can't talk to you because you aren't the student - I just want to know how to find an academic advisor. I physically went in the Westerville location, they were polite and after a few weeks of working with different people from the downtown Columbus location, they couldn't get an answer. It is no wonder this place is in the state it is - there is zero accountability or ownership."
"Well, if you're looking to get some course credits for a better university, this is your place. Otherwise, stay as far away from this institution as possible. No coordination, lack of attention to billing, scheduling, and general communication. Trying to find someone to talk with is near impossible. This school is interested in your money but not your experience. In fact, they will drag their feet through the mud, making you wait for nothing because they can not offer you anything except credits for other institutions. The faculty and staff seem to be run down, depressed, uninterested in your journey. The overall environment and feel of this institution is sub-par and has a lack-luster appearance with its employees. Shop around it's your future, not theirs."
