"Eight years ago, 2012, I was a patient of Dr. Florian, at the time my PCP. I went to him complaining of strong elbow pain resulting from a lot of work I had done, spreading gravel in the parking area of my apartment house. He had the air that he did not believe my story, as I moved a lot of gravel by myself in a relatively short amount of time. He suggested that I avoid carrying groceries for a couple weeks and put ice on it, which I did. Perhaps I did not emphasize how severe the pain was. I have had limited motion and occasional pain in that elbow since, and changed to a new PCP not long after that visit. This past Saturday, after experiencing extreme pain in that elbow, I was x-rayed. The doctor who ordered the x-rays found "two very old, large spots of calcification" in that elbow, apparently stemming from a stress fracture. It would have been nice if Dr. Florian suggested I get an x-ray 8 years ago, to avoid the recurring pain and possibility that Orthopedic Surgery may leave me with pins in my arm, or whatever the treatment may be to reverse what could have been fixed so long ago. "AGH central scheduling bullcrap. Sit on the phone and wait 5 minutes listening to their self promoting nonsense. No appt available from then. Last year you called the office and the office answered and got you in. Central scheduling has caused us to leave this practice. Saves AGH money I am sure but wastes your time which I guess is find with AGHG."
