"Quite honestly the staff, phlebotomist and technicians are all great people who truly care about our safety. They also are sensitive and considerate about wait times. However, as a longtime donor I have seen a lot of questionable conditions imposed by CSL corporate policies. Rules and that often don’t really make a lot of sense. I.E. employee schedule, and rules that the employees have to abide by that negatively impact the donors experience. Also, the bonuses very A LOT. We donors donate for two reasons; the money AND to help people who need these medicines made from our plasma. When you mess with the first reason, it does affect the latter. My reason for the 4, but not 5 stars…. have never understood why the bonuses fluctuates so much, as I highly doubt CSL sells out our plasma to there customers equal to the fluctuations reflected in our pay outs. Many of us really rely on these payouts, and that includes the bonuses. In summation: Staff = awesome. Corporate = listen more to your staff."
"This is the worst donation center I have ever been to. Every single time ive been here they are short staffed and very slow. They always want to talk but can't multi task so it takes forever. I do not recommend this place at all unless you have hours of your time to throw away."
"Some of the workers struggle to maintain excellent customer service because of their working conditions (edit from lazy), and the management are unreliable (edit from liars to unreliable), this location is slightly better than the Aurora one, so I’ll give it a pity 2 stars since I rated the Aurora location a 1 star. The CSL Plasma app provides constant misinformation about availability for both regular donors and new donors, and if you try to call, the line usually drops before reaching a tech to verify hours, and to verify when their cutoff for new donors is, since that changes by word of mouth on the daily. CSL Plasma is frustrating to deal with overall, take your plasma to BioLife, they have excellent customer service in person and over the phone, and will not waste your time, they also don’t take 3 hours for a single appointment, their practices are more effective when providing for both payment amounts and the time that is also donated. The CSL Plasma Arvada location has about 3-4 techs that you can tell care about what they do, but the rest have such barely veiled disinterest if not pure disgust that it makes the entire location awful. The bathroom is also not in good shape here usually. Generally I have no idea how they’re doing the minimum to pass FDA regulations and inspections to stay open Edit on 7/11/24: I want to add these concerning photos from my visit today, the first is feces on the floor of the vitals line, the second is an actual bite mark taken out of the sign (there’s actually 2 bites missing, that’s wild), I really wish I could give 0 stars"
"They can get busy and first time took about 3-4hours but I’ve been donating for about 7 years and this has by far exceeded expectations. It’s the wonderful staff thats always kind. They start knowing you on a personal level which makes things so much better. Shout out to skip and salvador and all the great staff there!"
"I went yesterday with my niece while she donated plasma. I had to use the restroom while I was there & I was really concerned as to what I saw. When I first entered the restroom I saw a empty water bottle & scattered stack of paper towels laying on the floor & a used Kleenex on the floor under the sinks. There was no toilet paper or trash bags in any of the stalls. I saw a bunch more paper towels laying all over the ground in two of the three stalls. This was my first time here & I would not recommend. I would actually tell you to avoid this place completely. To know that this is a place that is supposed to be very clean and hygienic, a place where they're putting needles in people's arms and this is how I see your bathroom. I would never trust that other parts of this facility are safe to be donating plasma."
