"Dr. Powers is an excellent dentist, does implant work . I was fortunate to come across his expertise. What was unfortunate was the front desk who did the billing. Make sure to check your insurance to see if a claim was filed. Every time my insurance pays a claim I’m notified. After months of calling my insurance, a claim was never made? I left messages with billing to call my insurance to make sure there wasn’t a miscommunication somewhere. A call was never made according to my insurance? After a year and a half later I was billed for all the work I had done $1900.00+. After calling my insurance company asking for their help in this matter they got in touch with the dentist office. The billing dept. said they sent in claims using my Social Security number?? What! Luckily Delta Dental paid those claims long expired. I’ve changed dentists but if your looking for a very good kind hearted dentist then you can’t go wrong here, just watch your billing carefully and do know what your insurance covers because you might be told otherwise. My first review I gave five stars but that was over a year ago."

"The dentist is highly skilled and knows what he is doing. The technician gets political while you are seated in the Chair. The office manager is scattered and accounting and billing inaccurate. I paid my share on a procedure, but almost three years later she did not file the claim with Delta. I have records to document this. I am still getting a bill for over 700.00. Id she would have filed the claim, they would have been paid. A post on the BBB, documents that this was done to another patient. What shame. The dentist is excellent"
