"We recently got married at Majestic Woods on 9/11/2021.The owners (Elvie and Al Post) are absolutely amazing. When we started looking at potential wedding venues, Majestic Woods caught our eye due to the beautiful landscape and scenery and we called Elvie to schedule a tour. Within minutes of meeting Elvie and touring the venue, we knew that we wanted to get married there and cancelled our tour at another venue. During the pandemic, Elvie kept us informed of all the necessary precautions they were taking to ensure health and safety and New York regulations so that we could plan our wedding accordingly. They were so incredibly flexible and accommodating with last minute meetings and multiple seating chart changes. They were so helpful with the entire planning process because we had no idea where to start and they gave us a list of vendors that they had worked with in the past. They made sure that our wedding was what ‘we’ wanted and that we felt comfortable. We could not be more thankful for Elvie and Al as our wedding was absolutely perfect and there is not a thing that we would have changed. "I attended as a guest at two weddings this year (2021) and the place is absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect for outside pictures. Whomever they have doing their catering was great!! Awesome for about 125 people maximum. I've added some pictures as well!!"
"The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful scenery and ceremony area. My fiance was just in a wedding here over the weekend and told me there was no specific place for the groomsmen to get ready. Would be awesome to have a cabin or something for the men as well as the women. The thing that really got me was there was nowhere to change my 8 month old daughter. I had to change her on her changing pad on the floor in the side room where the caterers were because one of them so politely offered me somewhere a little more private to go. Maybe get a changing table for the handicap stall or something. Otherwise the wedding was phenomenal and we had a great time!"
