"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKED PEOPLE!!!! If I could give this place zero stars, it wouldn’t even deserve that so the fact that I have to give it one star to speak about my experience makes me sick to my stomach. I just got off the phone with Paul who is supposedly the boss although Bill is the one that owns it. They sold me a 2005 Toyota Camry for $8000 which is $3000 above book value stating that it had been inspected thoroughly before selling it to me. We paid cash for the deal and then they offered me a very limited powertrain warranty, which they later told me should never have even been offered on the car but now knowing what I know about the vehicle, it totally Makes sense. Two weeks into owning this vehicle I noticed that the power steering was acting up and the brakes were screeching so I took it into the local Midas in Perrysburg, OH… and found that there was $4000 worth of repairs that need to be done including but not limited to leaking struts a whole brake job, front and back. The emergency brake system is completely out and the rack and pinion is leaking power steering fluid. As a single mom with a five year old little boy who rides in this car every single day it is a safety concern of which they do not care and are not going to help me to fix at all!!! Absolute piss poor business if you ask me. You should be utterly ashamed of yourselves Lakeshore auto in Erie Pennsylvania. Absolutely disgusting."
"Thank you Bob for all of your help. It's nice not to deal with pushy sales men. You were great. You are the first one to ever really explain everything in a vehicle and didn't assume I knew. You were very knowledgeable about your vehicles without reading off a paper to make a sale. Once I knew I was getting a quality vehicle I knew you were my guy. Bob! What a guy!!!! I would highly recommend Lake Shore Auto Sales if you want an honest dealer and quality affordable vehicles."
"I purchased a 2011 Volvo from this guy last week. I paid cash in full and my check was cashed in less than 24 hours. Today I had a chance to take the car to my mechanic and found out that it needs 4 catalytic converters. My mechanic was able to tell that that code was cleared recently and had been cleared a total of 17 times... I am now facing a $2500-$3000 repair for this vehicle. His sales practice is deceptive, I hope this stops someone else from getting ripped off by this guy."
"The gentleman we spoke to was very kind and knowledgeable. He was patient with my daughter's questions and really worked with her as she's looking to buy her very first car. This is a family owned business. Their vehicles are clean, have real stickers (no lick& stick) and are in very nice condition. Highly recommend!"
"I bought my last 2 trucks from these guys. My first purchase had an issue 2 weeks after I bought it and Bob made me pay half of the repair. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. The second vehicle I wasn’t so lucky. GMC Denali. It started leaking oil in different areas. The oil got so bad that it shorted out the crank shaft sensor on a drive to Nashville. The other oil leak........well!.......let’s just say I lost the starter. They packed so much black RTV around the starter to sell the vehicle and it was no longer their problem. That was a costly fix. I’ll never ever buy another vehicle from these guys. We were very good friends and if he treats his friends this way he won’t blink an eye at you. JUST BEWARE!!!"
