"Front desk was rude to people over the phone while I sat waiting and at the end of my appt rude to me. Doctor most definitely blew off my symptoms and tried to diagnose me with random things. Not sure if I will be back for the follow up given"

"Your doctor tells you to reschdule you appointment because you're having insurance issues but doesn't tell you that they are going to be on vacation for the week that you have to reschule for. Great service. I'm just overdue again for medication."

"Most verbal assault I ever received at a doctor office. Front desk is always yelling at the patients. When I ask them to speak respectfully, they scream "I know what I am doing" clearly they do not. They try to hide incompetence with anger and verbal assaults. I just want to know why they charged me 27 times more than they told me it would cost."

"I've now spoken with 2 females at the front desk of UPMC Rheumatology (20130 Rte 19 #2300, Cranberry Twp, PA)- one older woman and one younger woman. Both front desk females receptionist were about as cold and unwelcoming as they get. Zero friendliness or warmth. Very curt. Rudely brief in speech and abrupt in manner. Made statements such to me such as, "Uhhhh you called ME." - when I asked her what the phone # to the office was. I was really close to telling her off at that point. UPMC needs to really test the people at the front desk with random test/quality calls and evaluate their performances on how they treat people trying to seek care during a difficult time in their lives. I pay *way* too much money as a customer and patient- to not be treated well, at minimum, by front desk employees. Care starts at the front desk. I'm hoping to find another place to go eventually. Disappointed in UPMC because it would help to use a UPMC doctor to keep all notes in one place for my care."

"Worst hospital ive been too. I went in coughing, fever, and my throat has ulcers that are bleeding and they ran a quick strep throat test that came back negative and they never said what was wrong with me. After that they sent me on my way with no antibiotic or anything. Rude staff also."
