"The office staff is terrible. I need an authorization for a medication that Dr. Shearer prescribed. It STILL is not authorized after two weeks because the staff refuses to do their job. I have called, emailed, my insurance company called and they still refuse to authorize it. It will take too much time to do it. DO NOT go to this doctor."

"Scheduled a regular check up appointment which ended up being charted incorrectly saying that I was there for complaints related to left knee pain, which was true, but didn’t mention anything about my physical. Overall, not very impressed."

"I've been seeing Dr. Shearer since I was a child. Last year I was seen for an eczema outbreak and asked for a refill on my inhaler while I was there. They said there was no record of a prescription for an inhaler in my chart. I have had asthma since birth and had inhalers my entire life. The nurse explained that they switched to a new system and it "must not have been transcribed" when they switched over. Weird, but they gave me another prescription and I went on my way. I called again earlier this week for an inhaler refill, and they once again have nothing in my chart regarding an inhaler prescription. Dr. Shearer refused to refill my prescription unless I was seen again, for an asthma diagnosis I've had my entire life. I will be finding a new PCP who doesn't just lose pieces of my medical records, and also doesn't insist on seeing people unnecessarily so they can make a few extra dollars. If you want a doctor who cares, this one isn't it."

"My husband had an appt at 3:15, we got in the office at 3:18. We were in the waiting room for about 10 minutes and they came out and said because it was almost 3:30 by then, that we had to either wait till 4:00 or reschedule. We were only 3 minutes late!! I will not recommend this doctor to anyone!! My husband’s previous appointment, the doctor treated him like dirt because we won’t get the jab. This place is terrible!!"
