"If there were a rating of zero, I would most definitely apply this to her. She filed an unsubstantiated complaint of abuse against my family and the care of my daughter who has MS. She stated my daughter was emaciated and sent a social worker to visit. Her weight is 130 and is5'8" tall. She eats approximately 4-6 times a day she also stayed my daughter had untreated hyperthyroidism for which she had been checked by her PCP and did not exist Patient advocate was a waste of my time You may as well say Doctor advocate. After expressing my desire to change doctors the best the advocate could suggest was a meeting with Dr Appleberry. I feel this meeting is to demean me and my family. My daughter and I were;;; both nursing I feel the advocates nonchalant idea of take the meetung or find care elsewhere is not what upmc I suposed to stand for.I suggest you hiire more qualified neurology doctors.
