"Came here after attempting to get lab work at two other East Side locations on Tollgate Road (one location was closed due to lack of staffing, and the other location was slow as molasses). This location is much more pleasant than the other two locations I mentioned, which are located in dingy basements of medical buildings. Instead, this location is in a storefront unit of a plaza, with plenty of natural light from big windows, and an inviting, carpeted waiting area. Although there was only one woman working (doing double duty of checking patients in, then drawing their blood), she was fast and efficient, while remaining cheerful. There were maybe four people ahead of me around 8:30 a.m. on Friday, but my turn came up quickly. The actual blood draw went smoothly too. I also like that she asked if I wanted the results mailed or emailed to me, in addition to my doctor. (In contrast, a patient at another East Side lab asked for the results to be sent to her, and the staff member checking in was confused and frazzled by that request.) I was amazed to have an email with my lab results the very next day!"

"Do you have 45 minutes to spare hanging around a lab waiting to get blood drawn? If so, this is the place for you! Never in my life have I seen such incompetence! Since I live nearby I thought it would be convenient for me to go here, Normally I go to the east side lab on Sandy Bottom Rd in Coventry where I’ve never had a problem. Walking in the door, this place has no number ticket to take so they will know whom to call next. They have a patient sign in log right near the front door, hello HIPAA! I could see 3 people working there and one patient ahead of me, so unless this person was getting a blood transfusion, I’m not seeing the hold up. The front desk was unoccupied the whole 45 minutes I was there! I work at a doctors office and never ever has the front desk been unoccupied more than 5 minutes. I used the bathroom and much to my horror, there was about 6 urine cups filled in a basket near the toilet. Everyone’s names were on it, ummm HIPAA again and how about a good chance for someone to mess with the samples, unguarded! Run, don’t walk, away from this place, it’s a joke."
