"The entire experience with Dr. HUEBNER and Allegheny was excellent. I had Anterior approach hip replacement done by him. I interviewed 5 other Surgeons prior to meeting Dr. Huebner. I immediately was comfortable with him. What made me comfortable was his over attention to every last detail. He is thorough and complete in every aspect. The pre and post surgical testing, follow up and communication went beyond my expectations. My outcome has been good. I took zero pain medications after the operation. It simply did not hurt. I was able to walk unaided in any way 2. 5 hours after the operation. ( I did this on my own just to see if I could.) After some swelling I could still walk but I used a walker for safety. 2 days post op the swelling went down and I walked without any aids from that point on. I posted the video to YouTube. My replacement hip feels like part of me. I can’t tell the difference between my native good hip and the replacement. I routinely climb ladders, walk steep slope roofs, do heavy lifting and all day standing with no issues."
