"Can't put out an extra bag? So if I am cleaning out my attic or garage I have to pay extra to pick up. What is great about that? Funny thing is I left out a door for pickup and they left it there, so then I cut the door up and put it in the garbage can but that didn't leave room for an extra bag which I left beside the garbage can. They didn't pick that up either. I guess we can't throw anything away, which means we all turn into hoarders, and we can't buy new things because there is no room in our homes, which will ruin the economy. I guess we know who to blame for the next recession - thank you Waste Management."
"The service from WM is generally very good in Ingram Borough. Recently the pick up times, usually early in the day, became haphazard. Still, there are no complaints overall. Without input from the residents of the borough, council contracted with a different service provider. I have always found it unacceptable that borough council chooses which company collects trash, but each resident is billed individually by the service provider for trash collection. Is this even legal? There is no HOA in Ingram where the residents are bound by the bylaws. I used to live in a township where each resident could choose their own trash collection provider. The Ingram council should provide the bids submitted by various companies to the residents and have the residents vote to choose which company provides the service."
"Collection service is very good. However, rates continue to rise and now are way way too expensive. Plan to go with another collector next quarter. I would change sooner, but, WM policy is no refund and I'm paid thru September."
"Worst company I've ever dealt with. I sent them an email telling them I needed to cancel my service and I didn't have time to write the certified letter 90 days before the end of my contract. I have been recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and also need a very risky complicated spine surgery. I sent their certified letter and it was just outside their guidelines. My dumpsters were averaging around 286 a month. Magically all of a sudden they wanted the only charge me $96 a month. But they still wanted me to sign a five-year contract. As I explained to them repeatedly there's a good chance I won't be alive in 5 years. There's a good chance I'll never need the dumpsters again I was barely using them as it was but I was trying to honor my contract. I told them to sue me and I told them I was going to put their dumpsters at their offices and cherrington. This was still after many exchanges back and forth. The dumpsters were supposed to be out of there after my last pickup which was the first Monday in May. They finally picked the dumpsters up. Now they're trying to bill me for the month of May. This company is impossible to communicate with. Unfortunately it's a thing that's happening with all corporations. I saw an interview with the CEO of Waste Management. He was sprouting his tail feathers all proud that he had renamed the company WM. I thought to myself nobody really cares what what you call it. All we want is our garbage picked up has effortlessly possible and if we need something can we get it done without jumping through a thousand hoops. Waste Management constantly fails as a corporation. So a note to everyone who has a Waste Management dumpster. Take note, I was paying around $286 and after a brief argument they magically could lower the price to 96. So I would encourage everyone of you out there who has waste management dumpsters to get them to lower the fees on your dumpsters or get a new company. There's a lot of companies that will do it for a third of the cost but the only way you can get Waste Management to do it is if you threatened to sue them"
"Communication is great. WM always informs me of anything upcoming or changes coming. The service is professional, complete and effortless. They take everything and leave no mess behind."
