"Shadyside Commons isn't great because of the free coffee, free produce, excellent courtyard, or gorgeous apartments. It's great because of the management, who are unfailingly friendly, professional, and responsive. Couldn't be luckier to live here."

"I moved in yesterday, and I can’t be more thankful of the excellence displayed by the management here. My move in was great and I was accommodated in each way possible. There is a cart to haul luggage or groceries from your car to your apartment, the welcome gifts included in the apartment are beyond considerate. They included everything from a 6 in 1 head screwdriver for assembling your belongings to toiletries to hold you off while you are settling in. If I could give more than 5 stars, I surely would. Best move in experience I have ever had, and I look forward to my stay here."

"My wife and I love living at Shadyside Commons. We absolutely cannot say enough about the location, the apartment amenities, the friendliness of Katie and Kathleen, the helpfulness of the on-site maintenance guys Z and Hugh. We were a bit worried we would not have enough storage, but the complimentary storage lockers and bike storage within the underground parking garage alleviated that worry. The complimentary coffee and print station, recycling service, lobby areas, workout facility, all make living here even better. And lastly, our unit is simply incredible and just the right fit for us. The front entry call box, welcoming lobby, and open floor plan make entertaining a breeze. Because I work from the apartment, and because grocery, bars, restaurants, and cafes are all close and walkable, I rarely drive. I also love taking my bike out as this area of Pittsburgh is extremely bikeable with fewer large hills than other neighborhoods. We love living on the third floor, on the south facing side of the building as we do not have ceiling noise and get a lot of sun, but the only complaint that I can even think to mention is that the walls are thin and noise carries from unit to unit. If you can handle that one thing, there is absolutely no better place to live!"

"Shadyside Commons is an amazing place to live. The exposed brick and spiral staircases are beautiful and the wooden ceiling beams add coziness. The outdoor patio is great for hanging out with friends and grilling. One of the best parts of Shadyside Commons is the wonderful office staff, Katie and Kathleen, who set up fun (and covid safe) events for the residents. The location is great too, it’s super close to grocery stores and Target. It’s also a really quiet and peaceful place, without much noise. All in all, I really enjoy living here and highly recommend."
