"when my husband passed away, I never thought I would be happy again, my daughters suggested that I move into an independent senior apartment, we toured several and when we walk into Chartier's bend, I knew this was the place where I would like to move. The staff wear extremely helpful and went the residents to be happy and do everything they can to make it happen and on the other side the residents are very friendly, and they suggested activities that I might like, the more activities I did the more people I met, and more friends I made. I will always miss my husband but I'm very happy here in Chartier's bend."

"My mother has lived at Chartiers Bend for almost 5 years. She enjoys a lovely 1 bedroom apartment with a deck. Transportation is available to doctors’ appointments 3 days per week. Shopping trips are regularly scheduled to various stores. Other ventures include restaurants, and cultural events. Entertainment and other activities in-house keep the residents busy providing lots of opportunity for fun and social interaction. The staff is warm and attentive. It’s been a perfect place for her!"

"Chartiers Bend is an excellent place to live. The managers are warm and friendly. They try to answer and meet our needs. Our concierge, Sylvia was immediately there when I fell on my face. Called an ambulance, gave me ice for my face and made sure I was O. K. She took good care of me until the ambulance arrived. SHe also helped me to fix the problem I was having with my computer. We have wonderful opportunities to participate in games, volleyball, scrabble, bingo and many more. We are so fortunate to have people who take loving care of our community."
