"The reason we pay the money we pay is because of the Hilton quality. But I was so disappointed with this room. The bed…awful, the carpet….the dirt outside was cleaner. I hated my dog had to sleep on it, the toilet…seat was worn to the point you seen the brown wood, the supply line to it was very rusty, the blind got stuck in the up position we had to have maintenance fix it. Now the staff and the breakfast were amazing!! Very friendly went above and beyond. The were able to check us in 3 hours early. We were working at the event and needed to get our puppy out of the heat."

"This place is so poorly run that it deserves a second poor review. We had a horrific experience last summer at this same place and this review is about our experience today. Never again will I stay at any Hilton 6/21. This place is an absolute JOKE. Do not book here, do not stay here. See below about last years fiasco. We were given 6 be our guest certificates as a result of that incident and promised this was not normal. Fast forward to today 6/21, same hotel. We were contacted today and told that they aren't going honor the certificates and will be canceling our reservation as a result. What a fool I was to ever trust this dump of a hotel to honor the certificates that they gave us for their employees actions last year. Booked back in June through Expedia. Received our confirmation email through Hilton and Expedia the day prior to our scheduled arrival. My wife called as we were leaving Columbus to ensure our room would not be given away as we had gotten a late start to our trip. Michael, the incompetent desk clerk, didn't bother to check names but assured us that they don't give away rooms. So we make the 3 hour drive to Youngstown, arrive at 11pm only to be told by Michael that they had no reservation for us. Now this may be true and there could very well be nothing that he could do, but the fact that he was so incredibly rude was uncalled for and had he simply done his job when we called we could have avoided this. Edit. It turns out "Michael" doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Brandon, the night auditor, was able to see that we were checked in automatically for being Hilton Members. But Michael had actually given our room to someone else, but had checked us in. Now we get to fight with our credit card company to reverse the charges After being forced to spend nearly double at another hotel, the GM as well as Hilton Corporate reached out to personally apologize and sent us 6 be our guest certificates as a gesture for causing a massive inconvenience."

"My husband is traveling for work and we have to stay in hotels for extended periods of time. This is the worst hotel we’ve been to all year. Service was terrible, they asked at check in what days we would like our room to be cleaned, we let them know what two days we would like them to come clean during our week stay, they never showed up. I had to ask multiple times and wait two days for them to come clean our room. Their breakfast was the most disgusting breakfast I’ve had at any hotel in any state while traveling. The pool looked so dirty that I never even got in it. 0/10 do not recommend. The next state we are going to we already have a home 2 suites room booked and I’m doing everything I can to cancel and rebook somewhere else. I CANNOT stay at a home 2 suites for an extended period of time. Absolutely not."

"Was staying in for a funeral and passing through and it was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly. Had a nice conversation with the night desk clerk. Front desk fixed one of the issues I had. I believe her name was Kim.The breakfast hostess was nice as well and helped me figure out the waffle maker and find the best way to get to Walmart. I don't remember her name but she was very helpful and kind. Most of my stays at Hotels, staff is very..lacking. It was a nice change. Rooms were very clean. I couldn't get into the pool but it was not a big deal. I only take some points off due to the luggage cart being very awful. I will be staying here from now on when I come to see family."

"We stayed at this hotel so our 2 young grandsons could swim. Unfortunately we are well as other guests had to leave the pool after a few minutes because of unsafe conditions caused by what I am assuming were 8 to 10 unpaid guests. There were 6 or 7 young adults jumping in the pool non stop and at times all at the same time. I went to the front desk and complained and it was ignored. I went back to the front desk and complained again and was given nothing but excuses. It’s a shame that we paid way too much money for our room just for the benefit of swimming. Don’t post rules if they are not going to be enforced. As I was there more and more people kept coming in from the parking lot to swim. Why am I paying money when people can just walk in the pool door and swim? We will never stay at this hotel again."
