"Dodged a bullet. When I was living in PA, I showed up for a job interview, waited 30 minutes and was about to leave when a harried woman came out and said the person that scheduled the interview was out and they didn’t know to expect me, but talked to me anyways. The position itself felt like a good fit, but it was clear there was some disorganization. The original person reached out for a follow up interview and then after interview said I seem liked I’d be a great fit. She strung me along, called on a Thursday to say she would be making her final decision Friday on a candidate but said “I have a really good feeling about you.” Never heard from her again. I don’t care if she decided to go with somebody else, but when someone says, “I’ll call you by noon tomorrow and definitely let you know either way,” but don’t, it was the second demonstration that my time was not valuable to them. So, I can’t speak to working there, but warn applicants to be weary."
"My Grandmother rehabbed at Saint Mary's Asbury Ridge and I was so impressed with the level of service, cleanliness, and patient-centered care that I applied to work for the company! I believe I've found the job from which I will retire. PS - you would be hard-pressed to find better soups served anywhere in the city!"
"Daily mass is very important to me. Saint Mary’s at Asbury is the only Catholic facility in the area with a full time Priest. The spiritual care provided is an added extension of care of body and soul for my family. You do not have to be Catholic to benefit from this faith based care."
"I was recently a patient in rehab in Saint Mary’s west. As a retired nurse I was pleased with my care and impressed with how the staff cared for and treated the residents with kindness and respect. -Carol Jackson"
"Paying is great and love the benefits, but management is horrible absolutely horrible. I am most disgusted that they care more about money then the residents care and have more treating employees like slaves, hurting legs, backs I tore my arm from lifting also so much favoritism. I love my residents but I had to leave and I have not been there for a full year. I have been told but by the director from a innocent that wasn’t my fault but all fingers got point at my I felt targeted many times even when I had witness to back me up but they didn’t want to hear my side and basically saying I don’t do my job which is a lie, my supervisor told me i great I was a few hits but what she sees she has positive things but the director is full of it. I hate to say it I hope that place gets shut down and residents can go to a better place. Saint Mary’s was a big mistake to apply."
