"Dr Petraglia operated on my back on January 18, 2023 and after spending six or seven days in the hospital. I was released. At my initial follow up appointment he explained to me that it would take six months to a year To get better. As the months went by, I only experienced marginal improvement So I scheduled an appointment for January 2, 2024, which was approximately a year after the operation At which time I explained to him that I did not see a great deal of improvement and could not live the rest of my life In this condition. He explained to me that I would probably not experience any improvement since it had been a year and suggested That I Undergo a procedure that could improve my situation. I said I would consider it and would get back to him in a timely fashion and called the next day January 3, 2024 to agree to the procedure. The first thing I needed to do was to get a MRI which I scheduled immediately and at the follow up appointment it was explained to me that I might have an infection in my back And there were things I needed to do before I could proceed the latest of which would be a CT scan and biopsy. I called the hospital and scheduled a biopsy CT scan for Friday, April 5 and after the procedure, I asked the attending physician what the results were and he explained to me that they would be available on Tuesday April 9. It is now June 6 and no one from the practice has bothered to pick up the telephone and let me know if I have an infection or not which I consider an important piece of information. It has been 3 1/2 months since I agreed to have the procedure done and I am no closer to having it scheduled than I was on January 3. I have spent a great deal of money on co-pays and countless hours undertaking The tasks That I was told I needed to do and still do not have the procedure scheduled. I no longer have confidence in their desire to Improve my situation so anyone reading this please make sure you do your research before you choose a provider so that you do not end up in the same situation I find myself in. In closing I can summarize my experience with this medical practice over the last 3 1/2 months. UPDATE it has now been over 2 months and no one from the medical practice has been considered enough to pick up the phone and call me and let me know if I have an infection in my back. UNACCEPTABLE !"
