"I go to the Genesis Center to donate clothes and also to receive clothes. It is very good experience for our family. The staff is fair and pleasant. I usually receive like new items, on occasion we have received less than new items. But never anything unusable. They try and give you the size you need currently. I'll photograph our latest pick up. I have taken parenting classes at this location in years past. Knowledgeable instructors and good material. I always recommend!!! Parking is on street and free. I've never had to park anywhere but in front of building. They have a reward system, at the completion of a class you earn bucks toward items for baby. Great experience!"

"Genesis was referred to me through Children, youth, & families. I called today to do a pick up and Danielle had a not so pleasant demeanor. We all have our days but this program is set to help the less fortunate and people in tight situations. Upon arriving she wasn’t even at the site and they threw a half bag together of things together, although I am grateful I came from moon township and I thought it was gonna be worth the drive. The two ladies that did assist me were sweet and the lady even let my daughter pick out a toy and a book. I am 7 months pregnant and I would have appreciated better communication. These rooms were stocked with things and I know there are plenty of families but you can only pick up once a month so I was at least hoping for two of everything as far as pull ups, diapers, baby wipes and etc. Sadly I am going to find a new program that understands the hardships of families. However I am appreciative of what was given."

"Great classes. Supportive atmosphere. Amazing resource. Would be lost without them. If you are a single mother though, be warned, expect to receive half of everything they offer to those with partners or family receive. That is my only major complaint."

"This place is awesome! The employee's here are VERY understanding, helpful and trustworthy people, there's been times where i needed clothes, shoes, wipes or formula and I've received help from them when i was experiencing hard times and i have NEVER felt judged in any way! The women I've met here are just wonderful in EVERY way.. If i ever got the chance to meet the founder of this place, i would thank them from the bottom of my heart for having such a welcoming place for women OR families in need to go and get help and not be judged or looked down on! In my opinion, it can take a LOT of courage for someone to humble themselves to ask for help and when you feel like you're being judged, it makes it 10 times more difficult to do so.. All in all this place is AMAZING!"
