"Utterly useless excuse of an embassy and completely rude on top of it. Called number listed and after repeated attempts I was answered and immediately transferred to an unknown office without being asked where I might need to be directed. The person that answered cut me off when I started speaking to tell me my issue was not an emergency (totally unaware I was on any kind of emergency line, again when I called I was immediately transferred with no question or conversation, which is their issue that their employees aren’t doing a thorough job) Told the person I was on the phone with that he “didn’t even let me finish” to which he cut me off again saying “There is no need for you to start or finish” I have never in my life been spoken to so rudely and for no reason. If he felt I was wasting his time, well he was wasting his own, had the employees there done the bare minimum of asking me where I needed my call directed I probably never would’ve been put on his line. Do not expect any help, attention, anything from this embassy. Utterly useless & poorly run."

"Just called for a visa question. Was told to go yo the website, which I did multiple times. I need to get in contact with this location and get an email address. All the other locations throughout America has an email address listed except this one. And the man on the phone said there was one listed *it's not* and told me he did not have internet service when I asked him to check. I believe this location is on vacation or not working and decided to just stop communication. I guess I will have to end my 3 week itsly trip and go yo London or France instead."

"Our family of four went there for the Schengen visa. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My son has a broken leg and they went above and beyond to make the visit super comfortable for him. Extremely polite and thoughtful. I’ve been to other embassies too and I can easily say that this is the friendliest staff I’ve ever seen. The officer who helped us was Cara (I hope I got the name and spelling right), she is seriously the best! I can’t wait to visit Italy"
