"This is a review only on the batting cages. The two medium speed cages were useless. One throws around 40 - 45 mph. Maybe ok for 11U and under. The other medium throws around 65 mph, but is throwing way high - head level and above for a person 6'. Absolutey way above the zone on every pitch. The fast was adjusted for the strike zone, but the sun glare on the fence in the afternoon obscures the pitching arm. Those chain link fences that protect the pitching machines need a matte paint. On top of that 2.50$ for 12 pitches is way above the national average. Did not use the slow cages, but both mediums need adjustment. Fast is probably ok in better lighting. Probably around 75 mph, which is close to max for those Iron Mike pitching machines. That is fast from that distance."

"Scally's is the best. Fun mini-golf course. The Pitch and Putt is a fantastic place to work on your short game. The par three is challenging and fun! The grounds are immaculate, in my humble opinion! The staff is always super friendly."

"The mini golf course is great! Each hole is animal-themed, with matching statues. Great classic mini golf vibes. It's not the world's most challenging course, but there were a few surprises. The course was in great condition also."

"Scally's helped me fall in love with golf. I picked it up as a hobby this past year and Scally's has been a great place for me to work on my skills. Across the board, it's pretty affordable for the driving range, the 9-hole par 3 course, and the pitch & putt. (I haven't tried the mini-golf or batting cages). I signed up for their membership and have easily got my money's worth with weekly visits in the summer/fall. The par 3 course is usually kept up with pretty well. It forces you to use a variety of clubs, and has some unique holes to keep you on your toes. Just watch out, the whole course is built on a sloping hill - one sliced shot might send your ball racing all the way down to the woods. It's also a bit tight, so don't be surprised if other people's balls end up on your hole. It's first-come first-served which is nice if I just want to pop over and scratch my golfing itch. However, it can get busy on nice days, and as a single, I will often get stuck behind multiple groups who play at a slow pace, or kids/teens who are learning the game. Just have patience if you get here and it's busy, or head over to the driving range. I'll be coming here as long as I live in the area to hone my skills and enjoy a brief walk around a course. -- I'm a bit surprised at some of the negative reviews. Sure, it has a casual atmosphere, but there's a lot to like about Scally's if you don't come in expecting it to be a country club. It's a golf center that offers a nice variety of things to do at a great price. (Also, Scally's can't control the actions of other people!)"
