Regional Support:

The Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD) plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life in Allegheny County by providing financial support for libraries, parks, trails, arts and cultural organizations, regional attractions, sports and civic facilities, and public transit. Over the past 28 years, RAD has invested over $150 million in operating and capital grants to ensure that our regional parks remain safe and vibrant spaces for the community.

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy:

Established in December 1996, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring and improving the city’s park system. In partnership with the City of Pittsburgh, the Conservancy has raised more than $130 million and completed over 22 major park improvement projects. Annually, the Conservancy engages thousands of volunteers and provides programming for over 7,500 children, further enriching the community’s connection to nature.
