Top Notch Barbershop

"Came in yesterday towards around 7:00pm as a walk in. I ask for a for a textured fringe and showed the photos to the barber (I posted photos for reference.) The barber then proceeded to absolutely mess up my hair. He put pomade and styled it up, a fringe goes down NOT up. I wanted a cut to cover my forehead and he did the opposite. He then proceeded to say that once the pomade drys it will look good. So I got into the restroom to take of the pomade and he absolutely destroyed my bangs it I had parts that were longer and some that were shorter. It looked like he did the cut with his feet instead of his hands. I left the restroom and he immediately noticed how messed up my hair was. He didn’t even admit to messing up he just said “you know what let me line you up” bro was really about to send me home looking like that. He then proceeded to shorten my hair even more and it doesn’t even look like a fringe it looks like I just got a buzz cut. Mind you I grew my hair out all summer so that I had enough to cover my big forehead and now I’m left look like a little kid. My hair line is now crooked and he left me a BALD SPOT on the right side of my face. And he STILL CHARGED me $35, I was so mad that he still wanted to charge me after he messed up, I just coughed up the money and left because I was tried of going back and forth with him. Have to wear hats from now so I can cover this monstrosity. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR MESSED UP!!!"

"I chose to bring my son here because of the ratings. The ambience was welcoming, I was greeted upon entering and helped almost immediately .Rated as 4 stars because my son had to go twice for a cut but Angel helped us out the second time and he attentive and professional. If I compare to other places I’ve taken my son for a haircut I would recommend TopNotch . Will be bringing my son back !"

"Went for a haircut yesterday at 5:45pm. I sat down for a drop fade and the barber rushed through my cut b/c apparently someone was coming in at 6pm for an appointment. Dude, let someone else cut my hair if you're going to be rushing through it. The haircut is the worst I've ever had in terms of how it looked. I'm not even sure the barber new what the style I requested was from the way it ended up looking. He wanted to finish my cut in about 12 minutes. It wasn't the owner, Chris. It was one of his barbers. This isn't my first experience like this here. Never coming back."

"One of the best places I’ve been. Good customer service. Elliott Melendrez is a good barber highly recommended he took care of me. Made small talk making a connection with his customers and not only him but the whole shop. When I come back to the valley I’ll definitely have to go back here"
