Tattoo Aftercare Guidelines
Now that you have your fresh new tattoo, it's crucial to take proper care of it to ensure it heals beautifully. Please follow these aftercare guidelines to avoid any infections or complications:
1. Leave the Bandage Alone: Your artist covered your tattoo to protect it from airborne bacteria. Keep the bandage on for at least two hours. If your tattoo is covered with plastic wrap, remove it immediately as it can suffocate the tattoo.
2. Wash and Treat: After removing the bandage, wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, liquid antibacterial or antimicrobial soap. Avoid using a washcloth; your hand is the best tool. Gently pat the area dry with a clean towel or paper towel. Apply a light layer of ointment such as Aquaphor or A&D vitamin-enriched ointment. Avoid Neosporin as it is not suitable for tattoos.
3. Bathing and Showering: Showering is okay, but avoid soaking your tattoo in a bath or hot tub for 2-3 weeks. Swimming should also be avoided for at least two weeks.
4. Scabbing and Peeling: Some peeling and scabbing are normal. Apply warm moist compresses to soften scabs and avoid picking or scratching. Use lotion to alleviate itching.
5. Sun Protection: Once healed, protect your tattoo from the sun with a minimum 30SPF sunblock to keep it vibrant.

"I'm so happy with my new tattoo, got exactly what I wanted. Absolutely beautiful work, a true artist, the only problem is now I want another one. If your going to get ink, get it here, clean, friendly and the work is outstanding. Thank you !"
"Stunning artist, highly impressed with skill and talent. Very easy to talk to, friendly customers, definitely repeat customer. Highly recommend"
"Not the studio or the person he used to be, or pretend to be anyways. Has ripped off many people in the area for gift certificates he refuses to honor and even his former land lord who helped him out greatly, only to be swindled and greatly disrespected. Take your money and time to someone who deserves it."
"Initially my experience with Bob was great. I had waited YEARS for my day of the dead girl tattoo. He customized it as I requested and was very personable throughout the session. I asked for black and gray with pops of color in her eyes(blue), the shamrock (green) on her forehead and blue streaks in her hair. When we finished he said “after it heals, if there is anything that needs touched up just call or text me and will set an appointment to get it fixed.” Great right? Well….when it healed, the blue streaks in her hair were basically non existent. Her eyes and the shamrock were GREAT! But the blue shading in her hair was barely visible. So I reached out, I called, I texted, I sent messages on Facebook. More than once…Got NO response. Paid $500 for the tattoo and was met with complete unprofessionalism after the fact. This was a few years ago and I was never going to leave a review, I was just going to forget he and that shop existed but I am looking to get some new ink and unfortunately ran across their shop in my search results and had to share my experience. Bob is a good artist but beware of your tattoo, make sure it is DONE RIGHT before you leave so you don’t have to go back for any touch ups."
"Husband and I got tattoos here together, I couldn't have imagined a better first tattoo experience! Bob was very welcoming and easy to chat with, made the visit comfortable and he did an amazing quick job, perfecting our request!"
