"Para Park is a pocket park in Goodyear Heights that has a cute little neighborhood playground. It is tucked behind Morning Star Baptist Church at Newton & Para. The swings, climbing fort, & slide are new as of 2022. Street parking only along Para & Killingly. EDIT 5/2/24: in the past couple months, two benches & two public trash cans have been added to Para Park! Please throw away your litter in the garbage bins to keep the park clean for the littles & parents who frequent the playground ❤️. Two of the four sides are fenced. There’s a small playing field next to the playground equipment too. Just be advised that cars sometimes zoom along Para. If you are looking for an outdoor picnic space, check out the nearby Goodyear Heights Gazebo (gazebo has one picnic table & trash cans). ❤️ the Heights"
