Welcome to Moss Farms Winery, a unique gem nestled at 100 Harvest Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003. We pride ourselves on crafting wines that are as distinctive as the individuals who enjoy them. Our journey began with a passion for winemaking and a commitment to quality that you can taste in every bottle.
At Moss Farms Winery, we offer a delightful selection of wines that cater to various palates. One of our standout offerings is a white wine made from Catawba grapes. This sweet yet slightly tangy and refreshing wine is best enjoyed cold, making it a perfect choice for warm days and social gatherings.
Our winery holds a special place in our hearts as it was founded in remembrance of Jamie Orth Taylor. Jamie was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer at the young age of 27. She bravely fought against this relentless disease but sadly passed away in 2018 at just 31 years old. We honor her memory by donating a percentage of our sales to JAMIE’S WARRIORS, an organization dedicated to spreading awareness and supporting others battling this disease. With each sip of our wine, we hope you find comfort and remember Jamie's courageous spirit.
Our offerings include a variety of wines to suit different tastes:
- A sweet, grapey white wine that is perfect for parties or cook-outs.
- A medium-bodied, dry red wine with a smooth finish and a nice amount of tannins, ideal for pairing with robust meats.

"We were in the area to see the lights at Oglebay and found this wonderful place while we were here. We had some of the best wine we have tasted in quite a while. The scenery was amazing, and the inside of the winery was absolutely beautiful. The meat and cheese plate was to die for. We had the pleasure of being served by Susan and spent several hours tasting wine and chatting with her. If you are coming through Wheeling, I would highly recommend you check this wonderful winery out. The wine is delicious, the food is excellent, and if you are lucky enough to spend time with Susan...well, you will be Blessed."
"They make a bunch of sweet wines and do great job at it. The Stone Bridge white was probably my favorite but it was tough to choose. They also have moonshine. The people working were excellent. If you want to relax and enjoy a glass they have a deck with a gorgeous view. Well worth a visit."
